My stay at Friendship Hotel was disappointing from start to finish. I had to stay there for two weeks, and it was one of the most unwelcoming and poorly managed hotel experiences I've ever had.

The biggest issue I had was with the rude and inhospitable behavior from staff. From the receptionists to the restaurant staff, there was a consistent lack of professionalism and courtesy. My requests were often replied with sarcasm or dismissiveness. For example, room service is almost always late. When I called to ask about a delayed tea order, the the restaurant staff told me there is no staff to deliver it to my room and said, "You do know there is a kettle in your room." 😐

The rooms were old and poorly maintained. The lighting was dim, the rugs were dirty, and the bathrooms lacked proper cleanliness. Many of the facilities were either broken or unavailable. Incredibly, the entire hotel had just one mobile iron for guests (as told by the receptionist) to share. Good luck getting it when you need it.

I do not recommend relying on their shuttle service, as they do not wait at the airport for you. Instead, the shuttle only leaves the hotel after you're already out of the airport, and their agents call the driver. It was late for our pickup, and when I asked the receptionist why, I was told the driver wouldn’t “wait around for hours for you." 🤯

The food is okay and cheap. But this is only for the restaurant's case and does not reflect on the breakfast included with the room.
