I recently had an experience at a club that left much to be desired, particularly due to the conduct of the bouncers inside the venue. While the staff outside were accommodating and pleasant, the atmosphere changed dramatically once I entered. The bouncers inside were not just a minor inconvenience; their behavior significantly detracted from my overall experience, making it unpleasant and unwelcoming.
As an expat, finding a place where one feels comfortable and accepted is crucial to enjoying the diverse cultural experiences that come with living abroad. Unfortunately, the unwelcoming attitude displayed by the bouncers inside the club was a stark contrast to the hospitality I was greeted with by the external staff and, indeed, the hospitality I’ve come to appreciate in my time here.
It’s disappointing when the actions of a few can so profoundly impact one’s night out, especially in a setting that’s supposed to be about enjoyment and relaxation.
