Kuukkeli Log Houses Porakka Inn — Hotel in Northern Lapland

This is a very large log cabin with 7 rooms and separate men’s and women shared toilet and shower facilities. We had an enjoyable single night stay The twin room was very small, 8m2! It is very cosy for 2 people and there is not much space to storage luggage as there is no wardrobe. There is also a fridge in the room as there is no common fridge in the common kitchen. The kitchen and living rooms are very modern and the kitchen is fully equipped with induction cooktop, oven, microwave, kettle and dishwasher. The toilets are clean and there are multiple washing machines and a drying room available for free. The men’s shower was not working but the one in the sauna block was available. The sauna, separate men’s and women’s, is excellent and is included. It is available from 18-21. We booked the room for a single night and it came with linen and towels. Breakfast is included but you must go to the Holiday Camp Hotel, which is a 10 min walk. We enjoyed our stay but we were the only ones in the entire cabin.
