Our terrace room (#25) left much to be desired. The design of the hotel is such rooms face a terrace where people are encouraged to congregate and talk. The sound travels into the rooms, making it difficult to sleep before conversations stop. We had a particularly chatty group across the terrace from our room, which was unfortunate. When we tried to surface this to management, there was no one at the front desk. After ringing the bell multiple times to request assistance, we gave up. We were also informed later in the night that the WiFi in the hotel was not working due to the rain that day. We wish management had disclosed this to us at the time of our check-in, as it would have caused us to rethink our stay. Instead we were told that the hotel has WiFi. When we left the hotel the next morning, we let the front desk know about the issues. The front desk told us that no one else reported issues the night before, which seemed to be their way of absolving themselves of any fault.
In summary, our stay left much to be desired. Management would benefit from more training. Fortunately, we did not commit to spend multiple nights in this hotel. We’ll be passing through to take advantage of the other gems this region...

There is a beautiful swimming pool and garden as seen in the photos, and a fresh breakfast with a great view overlooking the Gordes plain was very satisfying. In particular, the swimming pool contains the atmosphere of Provence with beautiful trees. One of the best swimming pools I've ever experienced. We stayed in a room with a terrace on the 2nd floor. It was a pity that I could only stay for one night in a room with a cute terrace overlooking the central garden in full bloom of pink flowers. The overall cleanliness was very good, and the service from the staff was precise and helpful. Access to the main places in Gordes was also very good, so we could walk there. However, there is no distinction between the sidewalk and the road, so it can be dangerous to travel with children during the holiday season when there are many vehicles. Thanks for letting us have a good time. If I have another trip to Provence next time, I will...
Read moreFirst of all, Le Jas de Gordes is breathtakingly beautiful! The hotel is tucked away in the mountains in the South of France! The site is manicured to perfection, the flowers are beautiful and colorful. The poolside was refreshing, and we had a tasty cheese tray with Prosecco by! All lovely! We took a nap under the trees in a nice seating area outside! The hotel has so many quite seating areas to take a nap, talk with friends, eat or take in the views of the mountains and scenery. Valerie was amazing! She assisted with all our requests, from scheduling a massage, dinner choices, snacks, and wonderful conversations! We meet some nice people, and the staff was so much fun to have a conversation with! We will definitely book again, and we have decided to keep Le Jas de Gordes as our personal hideaway. We absolutely loved every bit of our stay and next time, we will...
