Great choice of a local Paris "city neighborhood" Hotel that is streamlined with Hip, Cool & Trendy moderately priced accommodations. I stayed here for 3 nights, as part of a COSMOS tour, prior to heading North to the Normandy beaches. Very comfortable at a reasonable price...

Paris is a world-class City that can be strategically luxuriously focused on one end of the city's Price / Cost Spectrum, or conversely the other Low-end price / Cost spectrum accommodation, such as budget Hostels and small Dormitory type lodge properties. There are many budget "Euro" accommodations in Paris, that do not work well for the American traveler; such as common use Bathroom facilities "down the Hall".

Accor's TRIBE Paris La Defense Esplanade fits comfortably into a chill local moderately priced hotel property.

Quick pros; well positioned near the Seine River in a more Business locale, city streets and traffic create a local buzz.

At the Front Entrance there is a small Elevator for Disabled or Wheel Chair access from the sidewalk, or to carry in luggage to the Auto-electric sliding front door.

Immediately upon entry, you are in the Front Desk reception / Lobby Bar welcome area. There are guests using the Lobby as a Business Center, Travelers checking in with Tour & Sightseeing Guides, friends meeting, staff wiping down tables and counters "for the next Guest, etc.

The Staff are cool in logo'd TRIBE Shirts, each focused on Hospitality tasks at hand. There is always Staff close-by at the Front Reception area.

The elevator and Guests rooms are card key access only, so a tremendous safety feature there. The rooms are well appointed and modern, not over sized but 'it is France," where some Hotel rooms are very small.

Bathrooms are well appointed, great towels, toilets, sink and shower - all modern styling and efficient. The Queen / Superior Bed was very comfy, a great duve, a small closet, large screen TV, enough power outlets and USB available.

In the room, is a hand held Steamer, a Blow Dryer, and a Cafe / Espresso machine. The windows do open a little for fresh air, but the A/C and Heat are individually controlled.

Just across the Street is a Monoprix Supermarket, where you can buy anything from reasonably priced To-Go / take away Food, Fruit & Veggies, Wine, Beer, Coffee, Tea, Milk, Diapers, seasonal Chocolates. Everything. Next to Monoprix is a Bank ATM.

There is a small meeting type room upstairs, and very decent Fitness Rooms downstairs.

Suggest making sure you have the breakfast, it is a very welcome friendly atmosphere for the diners. Plenty of fresh Juices, choice of Coffee or Tea, Milk. The selection of Breads is fantastic, the Fromage was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Scrambled eggs or Waffles with syrup were nicely presented as self serve, and continually replenished.

Nicely displayed were treats like Almonds, Spice, poppy Seeds, Pumpkin Seeds, Mushrooms, well-sliced ripe grapefruit, Jams and Marmelade and a very well done daily Avocado guacamole, non-spicy.

Clean glassware, Coffee/Tea cups and plates, cutlery were always well stocked.

Plenty of tables and counter space to sit and enjoy the tasty daily breakfast spread.

Of special note for the Breakfast buffet is the very attentive Food & Beverage TRIBE Staff who continually worked to replenish food items, keeping the table settings clean, wiped and refreshed.

The Hotel's team of Men & Women did a superb job as Guests came each morning, some in Groups, some Flight Crews, families, University student groups and consumed a hearty and nutritious start to their day.

WIFI was also good, no problems.

Quick Cons; Not many Restaurants, Pubs, Bars or Shopping in the immediate neighborhood. City environs...Taxi and Uber are no problem.

Accor's TRIBE Staff were excellent in professionalism, friendliness and nonstop Hospitality duties.

Standout Staff were the ever-present Buffet attendant Joaquim, Morcel on Table Cleanup, and Sonny at Reception.

I definitely would stay at this Paris TRIBE...

I checked in on 24 July 2025, stayed until 28 July 2025, and from the very first moment this hotel showed its true colours. Upon arrival, they demanded a €100 cash deposit “just in case something breaks”, with the empty promise that it would be refunded the same day upon checkout. I agreed and paid.

At checkout on 28 July, I asked about my deposit back—they assured me I’d receive it before 6 a.m. that morning. I never broke anything. I flew back to Ireland, checked my bank account—nothing. I emailed them—they claimed to have sent the money and told me to check with my bank. My bank confirmed: no funds ever arrived.

So I wrote back—and they vanished. No reply, no refund, no accountability. It’s pure scam.

Let me be clear—this is not a mistake, it’s a pattern of shady deposit handling in this hotel. • Other guests have reported unexpected charges on their cards, even when told it was only a guarantee. One was hit with a €60 charge right after checkout, with hotel staff refusing any resolution, attributing it to “tourist tax” but giving no refund or empathy . • Complaints about rude and disengaged staff are common. One guest described staff treating customers like nuisances, including resorting to eye‑rolls and complete indifference at breakfast . • Several reviews highlight tiny cramped rooms, broken or inadequate amenities, poor air conditioning, and unhelpful service when issues arise .

Now it’s my turn to warn you: This hotel treats deposit payments as a free loan, unfazed about returning your money. The refund promise is just lip service. Don’t be fooled.

If they ever do reply—or worse, say “check with your bank” again—that’s just a tactic to wash their hands and disappear. I haven’t heard from them since.

Avoid this place. Don’t hand over a cent upfront unless you’re absolutely sure. Their slick, designer façade hides a business model built on customer funds and disappearing once you leave. Spread the word—don’t let others fall into the same trap.

Final verdict: Terrible service, deceptive deposit policy, and virtually no...

Far below expectations, the hotel is not even four stars. Expensive room prices and the rooms are like holes. They only have good heating and hot water. It is far from the center, although you know this before you book it, but the metro is very convenient, which is about five to ten minutes walk away. For walkers, the Elysee is also about 5 to 6 km away. Also, the breakfast is from mediocre to terrible with few choices and poor service from the employees, they all seem to be working hard, from the restaurant to the reception. Fortunately, some speak a little English, not all, because some also have a French blaze style. The hotel also has a menu for dinner. On relatively good occasions, I ate a burger only once, not the one with the duck, and I can say that it was unexpectedly good. The cleaning ladies are rude, I stayed for five nights and they never changed the sheets and towels, not even the towels, they should have changed them. Also, the bottom sheet was dirty from the first day and they never changed it no matter how many times I told them. Finally, the room I mentioned at the beginning is so small that there is no room to put your suitcase, open it and not bend down. It also has a very small wardrobe with minimal hangers and a small empty fridge. Also, the room on the side of the road, which is basically a small avenue, and there is a lot of noise from the houses opposite every night. The area where the hotel is located has nothing special, just a lot of skyscrapers that are offices and a couple of good, expensive hotels. In the end, I was very dissatisfied with the hotel and it was below my expectations and I do not recommend it to anyone. I also forgot to mention that the bathroom stall they have in the room for taking a bath is so small that it barely fits a person weighing seventy to eighty kilos. I don't want to imagine what someone with more kilos will have to endure, but certainly in my room they may have better bathrooms or rooms, let's say. Also in Greece this hotel barely gets three stars,...

I stayed here for a few days and had a wonderful experience. This is my 3rd time visiting Paris but Tribe is the best hotel I've stayed at! The rooms are clean with modern decor. It's a bit small, but that is the same for most hotels in Paris. The location is in la Défense and a few minutes walk away from the metro station that goes directly to the Arche de Triomphe and the center of Paris. A grocery store is right across the street for any water or other essentials. There is also luggage storage services for hotel clients, which is very useful if you want to explore Paris before your flight. I also took advantage of the restaurant and had a wonderful meal that was delicious and filling. Next time I return to Paris I'll stay here again!
