The room is nice, and that’s the only advantage.
When I arrived at 11:15 a.m., I was told by the male staff that the check-in is from 3 p.m. And guess what ? It’s written 12 a.m. in their Agoda page.
Their so-called “heating” lasts only 10 minutes in the bathroom (NOT for the whole room) and you should turn it on every 10 min.
Unlike other hotels, when I asked the same male staff if I could have more tea bags, I was told that I should pay for them.
It’s true that the hotel is not far from the bus stop. But attention, there is only one bus line and it may take 30 minutes max to have the next bus.
Definitely one of the worst experiences ever.

Since I received the hotel’s response, I add my further comment here :
About the check-in time, it could be either the hotel’s fault or Agoda’s fault. But definitely not mine. And you can imagine how annoying it was to take the every-30-minutes bus to come to the hotel but got refused to check in.
They said the heating works properly, well I’m pretty sure that’s not right because I’ve checked every buttom on the air conditioning by the door and it was...
Read moreWonderful hotel nearby town of Colmar. We were able to book it last minute, it's a basic hotel with everything you need, comfortable bed with a firm mattress, bathroom is big enough in size, with a button to heat up the bathroom for 10 min or so at a time. We received Alsacian cookies as a welcome gift in our room, so it was a nice surprise. There's a shuttle accross the street we could take for free to go to downtown Colmar and enjoy the Xmas markets. The buses were packed as well as the town of Colmar, but it's all very charming (tip: leave to Colmar town early in the morning ~ 8-9 AM and have it for yourself before the hoards of crowds come in). Breakfast was varied and plentiful, it was an extra 12.5 Euros per person, but totally worth it to start the day right. All in all, it was a pleasant surprise, the staff was very welcoming and friendly, with a smile in their faces at all times. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel in the future and will recommend it...
Read moreWe visited the Best Western Colmar for 1 night during our trip home from Italy. The experience was horrendous.
We booked 2 rooms, but were offered only 1 (they put an extra cot in the room). When we commented that we booked 2 rooms because it is hotel policy of max 4 people per room and we were 5, they said, no problem. The smallest child is 4. One room is enough. Initially we thought they were kind to a large family and saved us 200 euros.
But no, the withdrew 200 euros from my credit card the day after we left because "cancellation costs for the second room".
When we contacted them on the matter and could prove that we were there and asked for the second room, but the receptionist only offered 1, they became annoyed and ultimately hung up.
The room we had was 20m2 and was 28 degrees as we were 5 people in a small room minimally functioning airco (Ecofriendly!). The breakfast was limited and the apples in the fruit basket were rotten.
