Un petit Vintage — Hotel in Colmar-Ribeauvillé

I also got 2 PIN numbers to access key box. I had trouble locking apartment from the inside. I contacted owner who sent 1 photo, no explanation. Owner did not reply to my additional questions about same question. The inside of the kettle is literally peeling and disintegrating. Did not use it. There was no soap or hair shampoo in the shower. These are basic items in any accommodation place. The liquid soap in bathroom hand basin needed refilling. I paid for 2 nights. Left apartment on 2nd morning. Did not return. I smsd owner saying I'd checked out and emptied bins, returned keys etc.

The next day, owner sends better photos with explanations about locking door. Too late. I'd checked into a hotel. Owner won't refund. Same thing happened to another reviewer who did not stay.

Two warnings: After climbing stairs to building, there is another set of steep stairs to apartment. Not good if you have heavy luggage or dont have leg strength to climb.

Reservation email had a clear pin to reach keys in a box outside the apartment, but there was also another pin later in text. Confusing and not our fault. Phone number we got from them to give help if needed DID NOT answer and either email, so we where forced to take a hotel near by. Later received correct pin, but too late. They did not return our money even we did not stay there and confusing information was not our fault. Also Booking recommended to return the money, but no. Very beautiful place in the heart of Colmar. It has everything you need and comes with free parking nearby. Instructions were clear. We stayed for one night in August, but the room was too hot! The temperature was always between 29 and 32°C because you can not open the windows, otherwise pidgeons come in.
