Florella Résidences & Appartements : République — Hotel in Grasse

BE CAREFUL! The room was nothing like the pictures! Terribly dirty, hair all over the bed sheets and the bathroom, yellow pillows and stained sheets, dirt inside the toilet and hair in the sink and shower. The bed underneath was shred! This is not about small damages furtniture might have, this is about dirt. The cleanness of the bed and the bathroom is not negotiable in a hostel! It had a weird smell and the room seemed as if it was not cleaned. After 8 hours of travelling we came to see this mess, although we arrived 2 hours later than check in time. Even though we immidiately left the place and did not stay neither of the two nights we had booked, they refused to give our money back. We were so tired yet we had to find another place to go. It was their responsibility to have the room cleaned two hours after check in time without us asking for it. They tried to escape the refund in every way possible. Booking.com felt so sorry for us after the pictures we sent them that they returned us their whole profit of the booking, which unfortunately was way less than what the hostel kept. This is not the way to treat customer/travellers. We feel scammed. We would advice everyone to stay away from...

Only three good things about this apartment are the nice and quite location not far from the center of Cannes, the new Nespresso coffee machine and the safe in the wardrobe. The apartment was clean, but quite worn out. Bathroom was nice and new, but upper shower wasn’t working properly. Almost the whole experience was a disaster. Communication with the management was bad: I had to send them three e-mails to get check-in instructions. The whole apartment is old. Air conditioner contreller on the wall wasn’t working, to switch it in you should jump on the bed and push the button on the ac block. The fridge wasn’t working properly. The wardrobe had only two hargers in it and your clothes would be placed in the same compartment with cleaning stuff…. They ask you for deposit more then 5-stars hotels do, but you have to take your trash out on your own, otherwise you’ll be fined. I would never come back and never recommend this apartment...
