I have booked with my dad two rooms for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day as we spent time with our family not far away. ||||We could only check in between 5 pm and 6 pm.||When we arrived the person that welcomed us was very nice however when we entered the lobby area it was very smelly (cold tabacco). ||||He then showned us the rooms in his basement. It was sooo cold in there at 5 pm as the radiator were not on! Then we realised the radiator was not working or working very slowly. The person said it will get warm quickly and will be fine when we get back later on. We got back at midnight and the radiator were freezing cold. The room was also not clean they were dust and spider Webb everywhere and no shutters or proper blind so the street lights at night would unable you to sleep!!!||||I decided to leave and got myself a hotel room at the Holiday inn 5 minutes away. ||||My dad stayed in his room and I met him the following morning for breakfast. Breakfast was not great we were served out of date yogourt and very dry croissant. ||||We manage to get 100 euros back out of the 217 euros paid for and free breakfast that morning and my dad had to take a room as well at the holiday inn next door for the second night. ||||Very poor...

But sadly, hygiene and lack of mosquito net issues made our stay difficult. And I wouldn't recommend it,...
Read moreMy stay at Villa Tricia was a dream, what a lovely place to enjoy Cannes and what lovely hosts did I have.||||I came to Cannes for the Lions Festival and stayed at Ingrid & Paul's for three days, they are so kind and warm-hearted that I felt home straight away. You can ask them anything and they have the best tips for either restaurants, bars but also great day trips and secret beaches.||||You just have to cross the road to go to the beach and within a lovely 10 minutes walk you are in the lively city of Cannes, but with the great escape to Villa Tricia which gives you the wanted rest whenever you need it.||||The house itself is as out of a romantic movie, the rooms are super nice, all you need is there. If you are in an upstairs room you have your own balcony or otherwise your own spot in the colorful garden. Breakfast is delicious and, fresh and super French.||||It was an absolute blast staying here, I'll...
