They have the worst rooms, with the worst management and the worst employee.||||The Receptionist was being very rude !||||At the check-in||||1. We asked for the elevator and he answered very rudely.||||2. We made the booking via booking.com where it was stated that the room is climatized. And AirCon was the only reason why we chose your hotel. So we went down to the reception asking for the AC remote. We spoke in English as we had a limited vocabulary in French and it was written at the front desk that you guys speak english! The reception looked down on us and he said he didn't speak english and when we pointed at the 'we speak english sign' he treated us with a very bad attitude saying that "je parle pas anglais" and when we finally spoke French again he started mocking us. Fed up with his attitude, we stayed polite but then told him that he worked in a hotel and should not talk to a client that way.||||3. He then started to complain to us about his long day work and how complicated his job was, and we told him that it's not our problem cause we only asked for the air-con remote. ||||4. He said we had to talk to the next receptionist cause his shift is over and started gathering his stuff. ||||5. When we asked for his name, he said he didn't have a name. And told us to go to the police to make a file. He started to become very aggressive by making abrupt gestures as if he was throwing away stuff.||||6. We're pretty sure he muttered a lot of other things but we only heard him correctly when he asked for my age. I was definitely not giving him my age, and he started said that I had to respect older people when I talk to them. EXCUSE ME?????? ||||||7. He asked me if I was 12. He said when he was 12 he sucked fingers.||||8. He left us for around 15-20mins alone without anyone at the reception.||||||At the end we did not stay there and wrote an email to ask for a reimbursement.||I wrote EXACTLY the same 8 points on an email but there's no response whatsoever from them! No apology, no...
Read moreI have booked the hotel several weeks ago and, last week, when I was reading the comments of the hotel I started to feel certainly worried. I just wanted to share my view of the hotel which is not that bad indeed: First, this is Paris downtown and so a 2* hotel is very often small and old - here you should expect exactly that Room size was rather ok, with a very clean and good bed; plugs on the other side :( If you want to find dust, it is easily found behind pipes, in some corner and in the wardrobe Bathroom was ok, with a window and a bathtub-shower Service is ok-ish...they told us they would fix a problem with a plug in the morning and we needed to remind it again in the night The worst is that they charge 12€ to leave the luggage in reception for some hours after checking-out Personally, considering the price and the reality of Paris, I would repeat in this hotel for a...
Read moreReception: Rude and not helpfull people. |Then the elevator: You need to walk 4 steps to the room. So if you have people with wheelchairs etc its just not practical. The room: Old dirty rooms. Beds are comfortable but if you are taller than 1,90m your feet have to be outside of the bed. Bathroom is old and discusting. We also have chair with a nice hole in the middle. Walls are dirty. If you are planning to open the window then you just cant sleep. Its freaking noicy down there and the French people are honking with their cars every 10 seconds. Most funny part is the Wi-fi. 3,50€ for 30minutes. So if you want internet connection go to the cafe next to the hotel. Breakfast is also not free. The metro is not next to the hotel and you are far from bars etc during the night. And the price of the hotel is not even cheap. Enjoy your...
