The rooms here are the highlight—clean, modern, and tucked away on a quiet side street in Le Marais. Unfortunately, the service and atmosphere don’t match the quality of the accommodations.
Staff interactions felt transactional at best, with little effort to offer genuine warmth, local knowledge, or memorable touches. This is disappointing given how much thought clearly went into designing the rooms and lobby. The décor leans dark and sensual—perfect for a romantic getaway in theory—but in practice, the energy is flat. The lobby bar, clearly meant to be a centerpiece, was consistently lifeless. In several days, we saw a bartender only once. A guest happy hour, live music, or other small effort to create a sense of vibrancy would go a long way.
Additional notes:
Local guidance: Don’t rely on the staff for restaurant suggestions. They’ll just Google it without asking about your preferences—you’re better off doing the search yourself.
In-room entertainment: While no one visits Paris for TV, sometimes you want to relax in your room. The channel selection is limited to a handful of news networks, and there’s no option to cast from your own device—a surprising omission for such a new property.
Basic requests: Service with small items was inconsistent. We asked for an ice bucket and corkscrew three times and succeeded only once. On another occasion, we were made to open our wine awkwardly at the door because the corkscrew couldn’t be left with us.
Overall, you’ll get a stylish, comfortable room in a great location, but don’t expect warm hospitality or the lively, welcoming vibe that many nearby...
Read moreThis was a great find and we loved our stay here.||We came here as a group of 5 friends for the weekend and booked the 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was incredibly spacious and it could easily take 6 adults. There is a separate en suite room with a safe and coffee making facilities, and then the main “apartment” had a room, shower/toilet area, and the living room with a large double sofa bed. In between the rooms there are sliding doors that you can close and make it into two separate bedrooms to give you more privacy. The amenities were great, and the shower/toilet was clean. The bed was comfortable, air conditioning worked well, and it was very quiet. We had drinks at the bar on Saturday and there was a live DJ. That was good, although I don’t normally like loud music. ||Location-wise this was perfect for wandering around the Marais area. We had walked from Gare du Nord and did 2 pit stops at a great bakery (Du pain et des idées) and a bubble tea place (Xing Fu Tang). We also walked down towards St Germain and Louvre. All very walkable. ||I’d definitely...
Read moreThe location is superb and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The staff are warm and friendly, but many seem quite new to the profession — when asked for local recommendations, they tended to just Google things rather than offering informed suggestions.
On arrival, my first room had hairs on the bed, which was off-putting. To their credit, the front desk immediately moved me to another room, but combined with the noticeably dirty main seating area, I couldn’t help but feel uneasy about the hotel’s overall hygiene standards. There are lots of accent pillows and heavy upholstery, which I also questioned in terms of how thoroughly they’re cleaned.
Personal preference, but the rooms are very dark, making it hard to pack or get ready comfortably.
The bar is prominently featured in photos, yet it only opens later in the evening — and I received conflicting information about when exactly. This felt disappointing and unwelcoming, especially as a traveler new to the city.
Wouldn’t rule it out for others because of the location, safety and comfort, but I wouldn’t...
