I used to love this restaurant for its cozy atmosphere, seasonal menu and delicous natural wines. However, after my last visit all that changed.

I invited a friend of mine, who was visiting from abroad for dinner here. We reserved for 19:30 and arrived just as the restaurant was opening for dinner. Despite being the first guests to arrive, it took over an hour for the server to bring us our starter. Then another half hour for our main dishes to arrive. The food and wine were just as good as usual, but when we got the bill the chaos began.

I paid for the bill in cash and left the money on the table. Around 5 minutes later we were chased down the street by our server. Upon returning to the restaurant I was accused of being a theif and not paying for my dinner. Another female server proceeded to insult me, all this considering the restaurant was full and crowded by then, making a scene in front of the other diners and my foreign guest, who I had invited and paid for minutes earlier. The staff tried to have me pay the 120 euro bill a second time, this time by credit card. I refused. No cameras are installed in the establishment and the servers never asked the other guests at neighboring tables any questions. After a scandalous argument, and no apologies offered on their part we were asked to leave.

I have never been so insulted or treated with such a lack of respect, especially as a customer who has come back time and time again to their establishment and brought them multiple new cstomers every time. I am appalled at these accusations and disdainful, deplorable service. Shame on the staff, their thieving tendencies and complete lack of respect for...

The fish special that was served had sand in it. I told the waitress and she acknowledged that I was correct. She even said that sometime they forget to wash the food. I had to wait another 15 min for the food to be taken away and rinsed off and sent back to me. They did not give me a new plate with new food. The same plate was returned and they rinsed the sand off the vegetables this time. I was turned off but ate it cause I was starving. This happened after I had floating black pieces in my wine. I told the gentleman who served me the wine about the black floating things and instead of replacing my glass with clean wine, he tried scooping out the black dirt with a fork. My husband and I watched him in disbelief that he was actually going to give me back the glass after breathing all over the glass and after scooping the black stuff out with a fork. But luckily a lady working there told him not to do that. They had a long discussion and I waited over 15 minutes before I was served a clean glass of wine.

I asked the manager to remove my plate off the bill and she said that I still ate it after they brought the dish back the second time She refused to take my dish off the bill. She only took the glass of wine off the bill. I don’t...

We stumbled upon this place during lunch time after shopping. The outside looked very nice so we decided to go in. The outside was painted mint green, which is easy to notice when you’re looking for it. We were seated at a comfortable wooden table and our waiter was very attentive and quick. The inside of the restaurant looks small but there was enough space. It wasn’t too busy. We ordered Guinea Fowl with fries and Monkfish tail (fish of the day), while for drinks we had wine and tea + sparkling water. The Guinea fowl was great, they brought a big piece which I unfortunately could not finish. The fries that came with the nicely cooked fowl was also tasty and had a side of ketchup. The monkfish tail tasted good, was soft and meaty. Did not smell or taste like fish even though was fish, which for me is a huge +. The monkfish was served on a plate of carrot purée which complimented the fish nicely. After food we went for dessert, the 3 scoops of ice cream. I chose vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate. Vanilla and strawberry were taste while the chocolate ice cream was a little strong for my taste. However, I’m sure if you prefer a more bitter chocolate taste - it’s perfect. Overall the experience was great and I would recommend it to...
