Location is the main reason I give a three star. Otherwise would have given a two. I stayed 5 days. On the 5th floor with NO lift/ elevator for at least 85% of the time. Plus they lock the doors at night so you have to wait to be let in by the clerk. Who was often not at the desk. So you stuck outside ringing the doorbell waiting for someone to come. Housekeeping was definitely hit or Miss. Consistently made up bed however did not restock hygiene items or towels routinely. Rooms were good sizes by Europe standards. Only dealt with 4 staff members. Day shift was awesome.. night shift not so much!

Stayed here for five nights at absolutely reasonable price. Do not let the name or entrance fool you. The inside is modern, clean and beds very comfortable. We stayed at 6th floor and had a beautiful view to the Eiffel Tower! Breakfast is good and does not live up to French standards (one croissant only). It is far better! One minute away from metro and 20 min later you are in Cité Métro. Restaurants nearby - see other recommendations from me- are great. Lots of choices. Transportation to Eiffel Tower about 30 min.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone not super new to Paris. It was a little difficult for me unfortunately bc it was my first time. It's relatively easy to metro everywhere, but bc of location, it was very hard to get your footing and figure out where and how to go places. I always felt safe, but hated rransfering from 4 line and taking the metro 6 line into Paris to Eiffel tower.... Very sketchy!!! If you know your way around and what you want to do then this hotel is a steal! Small rooms and the shower got water everywhere in the bathroom, but was able to wipe it up... Staff was amazing and very helpful... They could all speak relatively good English and were very willing to help figure out anything you neexed. The cleaning staff did a fabulous job and the breakfast crew was very efficient, clean, and good. I would recommend doing breakfast just out of convenience...We probably should have used the staff more often to help us find our way around and plan our trip. Safe area, most of the restaurants in this are have one or two people that can speak English and help you... We went to an Indian restaurant and though they spoke little English they were super helpful! Ask at the front desk for this recommendation it was only like a block from the hotel. The cafe across the street on the corner was not my favorite, so I would wonder to find a different one if you want to eat in the area which we did often to avoid the metro at night. We are use to washington DC, so with being in an unfamiliar area we always feel unsafe at night, though by looking at all the people out late, it didn't seem to be as dangerous on the metro as we had thought... But always cautious... Next time in Paris we may be a little more...

Our stay at Acropole was good. The hotel is nice, the staff are nice. The location is ok, it's pretty far from everything but it is also right next to a Metro stop so it isn't too bad. I was quite satisfied with the room, with the only unusual thing being the toilet was in a separate little room from the rest of the bathroom, and the toilet's room was super tiny. Like, nearly knees touching door tiny. Not a big deal though. I have only two issues with the service. The first is that the hotel has an unusual policy in that they will clean your room even if you put the "Do not disturb" sign up on your door. I spoke to the front desk after this happened to us and they informed me that they installed this policy because people sometimes forget to remove the do not disturb sign and actually want their room cleaned. This runs contrary to other hotels and is backwards logic, as it punishes people who have intentionally left up the sign, in favour of people who have made a mistake leaving the sign up. It makes more sense to have the people who made a mistake suffer the consequences. In the end it isn't too big a problem, as you can inform the front desk that you do not want your room cleaned and they will note it down. The second service issue is that when my room was cleaned unnecessarily, cleaning staff replaced my towels despite them hanging on the wall. Acropole, like practically every other hotel these days, has the sign on the wall saying that if you put towels on the wall they will not be replaced to save water. It seems the cleaning staff do not actually honour this environmentally sound policy. Anyways, overall my stay was good besides this issue with the cleaning policy...

If it was not from saed and the lady at the breakfast ... I would have DEFINITELY hanged myself... the housekeeping is so unprofessional that they knock on your door even with the no disturb sign since they want to finish early and leave as she said.. it was 9.00 am.. The housekeeping start doing loud noises.. buckets doors slapping cart dragging.. at 8.00 and when I complained that I wanted to sleep they simply told me this is there rule.... I asked for an extra pillow the reply was that they did not have any additional one and their pillows are all in the rooms... I had to go to the reception and beg for an additional pillow....the housekeeping supervisor Nd the crew are the worst I have ever seen.....moreover they upgraded my room so saying to a room where the water filled the toilet every time I took a shower .. no stand to put the shampoo inside the shower space.. And it was DAMN COLD..And for 7 days I had to sleep under the sheets above the head since the room is barely heated... the shower was a fridge... that simple... It was my second...
