Mangue Rouge — Restaurant in Paris

Hugely disappointing, with mediocre service and Thai food that is barely flavourful. Staff were fairly unhelpful, to the extent that we wound up adding/arranging our own table when the food arrived because they literally tried to put plates of food on top of each other.

The much-lauded Thai iced teas were watery and warm; and of the food ordered, while the duck breast in red curry was absolutely excellent, the stir-fried cod was very average, and the “drunken noodles” were absolutely terrible. Not actually spicy, no flavour of holy basil, the wrong noodles…the only positive was that the chef was generous with the beef (which was also well-cooked). They were unable to provide anything other than raw chili (or Sriracha) when asked for extra spice (which is weird), and in general the whole experience was a massive let-down.

Really disappointing. Maybe do one of the curry dishes as a takeaway but don’t waste...

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the quality and authenticity in every bite.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout the meal. The atmosphere was cozy and elegant, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing dinner.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves authentic Asian cuisine. Whether you're a fan of noodles, rice dishes, or something more adventurous, there's something here for everyone. Can't wait...

Wouldn't recommend going here. We went there on a saturday and they sat us down on a table and took our order. After 15 minutes they told us to change our order because the chef isn't there. They offered us free coffee for the delay. After waiting another 15 minutes the chef came and said we will cook you what we can (so basically no option to choose) and they brought us an extra entreé which we thought again is for apologizing for the delay but in the end they charged us for all of them :)) The food wasn't that great in the end as well, so I wouldn't go back there...
