A somewhat difficult review to write.
First, the food tastes quite good, well seasoned, and is well presented. The service was fine.
Some other reviews noted that cooking is refined, yes, perhaps a good characterization. The crowd was all western and it seems that is the crowd that is catered to.
Missing for me were the things that i typically like in a Korean restaurant such as a number of small banchan dishes (there were only two). The kimchi is supposedly made by a kimchi master, however, that night they were out of kimchi. Which is a first for me in 40 years of Korean food.
That said, and will give the benefit of the doubt, it was a week after SolNal (new year) and they had been very busy and had ran out of many things.

Read moreIt was amazing Korean restaurant in Paris! We tried when we visited at Paris, and we could have interesting gastronomic experience at that time in this bistro. Firstly, I have to say it was not general taste I can experience in South Korea, but it is more trendy taste using very organic and health focused ingredients. Even in Korea, it can be pretended to be more natural and high quality cuisine. You can be wait be long time, but it means they consider the quality for your mouth. And their choice of wine... Oh, there is no word to explain the mariage with foods and cuisine. You can realise their hard work to match with wine and food, because normally Korean food is the one of the most difficult cuisine to match with wine. Read moreFrom the moment you enter the restaurant, you can feel the kindness and the delicacy of the owner. The owner explains the ingredients in the food to how to eat it in detail to help you make the perfect choice. Needless to say, the food was new and delicious. The Dakgangjeong was really soft that I couldn't believe it was made with the chicken breast, and it was a perfect entree dish to whet the appetite. The main dish, Iberico Jaeyuk bokeum, was good because I could have felt the harmony between the Korean seasoning and the flavor of the meat itself. Lastly, the black sesame ice cream was a perfect sweet dessert, and I highly recommend trying it. If you wanna try fresh Korean foods, the comfort and the kindness service of the Korean owner, I truly suggest to visit...
