Hôtel du Château — Hotel in Paris

The hotel looks nothing like the pictures. The room is very small and dark, and the bathroom is tiny. Their towel warmer is a safety hazard, which caused a second-degree burn on my right wrist (about 4 cm wide) after accidentally touching it for less than one second. I highly suggest booking somewhere else. The 3-star hotel I stayed at in Le Marais was far more pleasant than this '4-star' hotel. For my injury, the hotel offered A free night’s stay, expiring in 6 months, but refused to offer anything else such as medical reimbursement for the burn, which could leave a scar. The hotel can come across as a bit dated, but I think it's retro and cool. Since it's kept so clean I didn't mind at all.

Il progetto del nuovo Hotel è ben fatto e di qualità, gli arredi e l'accostamento di texture e colori è vincente. Peccato però per i molti difetti degli impianti soprattutto per un hotel come questo che si vuole qualificare di lusso. L'ascensore si è bloccato, l'elettricità assente per tutto il giorno (non è stato possibile ricaricare telefoni, ne utilizzare phon o macchinetta del caffè, ne fare la doccia). L’impianto di condizionamento non funzionante e il caldo ha reso impossibile dormire senza sudare (coperte troppo calde che non avevano da cambiare). L'ascensore poi è stato spento e la nostra stanza era al quarto piano. Tutti questi difetti purtroppo non mi hanno fatto vivere questo soggiorno come avrei voluto.
