Pizza Grill Istanbul — Restaurant in Paris

Found this restaurant while wondering around Paris. We were seated immediately even though it was Saturday night and busy. With no reservation. Staff are really nice, welcoming.

Now the food, everything we had was absolutely amazing. Mezza starter was surprisingly lovely. I'm not a big Hummus etc fan but this was exceptional. My wife got a veg. Pizza, I had the mixed grille. Unbelievable. I've had the same meals at home in Ireland, Germany and Holland but this was by far the best I've had.

Price was very reasonable. Sometimes you find a little gem of a restaurant that you know that you'll go back to everytime you go back to that city.

So my husband and I wanted to try some Turkish food and so we decided to try Urfa Durham but it was closed until the 27th so we walked up and down the street a couple of times and decided to go to pizza grill Istanbul, which is literally right next door to Urfa Durham. I’m really glad that we had given this place a try because the food was unbelievably flavorful! I had ordered hummus and bread was complimentary for the appetizer. For the main course my husband ordered Adana kebab which came with salad and rice. For me, I ordered Beyti kebab with a side of yoghurt and it was really good! It was really reasonable and the waiters were very nice as well! They spoke a bit of English not much though but it’s definitely a must...

In short it's a nice Turkish restaurant with good food, friendly staff and moderate price. They have Turkish pizza and also Turkish dishes like kebabs. My choice was for karisik izgara which is a mixed kebab (beef, pork and chicken) with salad covered by naan (flat bread) to keep the food warm. When you seat you get warm bread on the house as appetizers for the wait. The owner was working on the yoghurt machine and I took a look asking questions: he offered me a taste.
