I stayed at Hôtel Langlois for just one night, mainly because it’s close to my office and located in a central area of Paris I know very well. I had to book last minute and was looking for something reasonably priced. In my opinion, though, this hotel is overpriced for what it offers.||||The room I had was not well maintained—while the towels, bed linens, and bathroom were clean, there was a lot of dust in hidden spots, suggesting it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time. I also didn’t like the overall decor—too many mirrors and a kind of pompous style that made the room feel uncomfortable to me. The shower still had a curtain, which I find outdated, as were other elements like the taps and furnishings.||||The bed was comfortable, but the room was far from soundproof—I could hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms. On the positive side, the staff were very kind and polite, but I was surprised by their limited English skills, especially in such a central Paris hotel.||||All in all, while the location and staff were great, I won’t be returning. There are many other hotels in the area that offer better value...

The rooms are great. We booked a two room for the two kids and two adults, But they did not have a roll away for our other child, so he slept on the floor. Boy, girl kids at that age were sleeping in the same bed is not ok. Hotel is in a great location, bedding was nice, good hot water. But on the morning of us leaving thankfully we were not in a hurry, it was raining. The hotel staff would not help us get a taxi! 8:30 in the morning. The front desk reception guy called what appeared to be two of his buddies maybe taxi agencies and said he could not help. So we were on our own. We had a little time now to wait. We wanted one breakfast for our son, the unfriendly gentleman also charged us for the breakfast policy is what it is. Thankfully we budgeted extra time for travel. The staff were unfortunately just not helpful. Picture of the guy is on the review. Let’s just say to get a taxi when we needed it from outside services. Cost about double the going rate. Hence the bad review. And no roll away! This is not a luxury hotel! Most patrons seem to be business...

*american reviewer* so take with a grain of salt. Loved this hotel! The location is outside of the tourist areas and made you feel like you were living as Parisian. This is not a new hotel and feels a little bit like an AirBnb apartment (without the kitchen) with amazing housekeeping and hotel amenities. We got a “junior suite” for our family of 4. The pull out bed was very nice and set up for us when we arrived. The main bed is surrounded by wood built ins which makes you feel like royalty. The towels were very nice. House keeping service was the best. The air conditioning works well. Also 1 block from a metro to go anywhere in the city. On the street within 3 blocks, there is every cuisine you could want done at high levels. A grocery store (G20) is 2 blocks away. This is an amazing choice if you are looking for something a little off the beaten path and not the Ritz (not in a bad way). Which is exactly what we were looking for and we could not have been happier.
