I stayed at the Hotel Imperial for 5 nights last week and had an excellent stay. It was an easy walk from Gare du Nord to the hotel after sitting in Eurostar for 3+ hours. And there’s a direct public bus from the station to within 5-7 minutes walk of the hotel and plenty of cafes/bars en route. And there are 2-3 metro stations quite close too.||The Imperial is not a chain hotel and so the attention one gets is individual. All the staff I encountered spoke English very well – and I want to thank particularly Djamila and Mounir for the extra help they gave me to get around Paris to the sites I wanted to see. This is my 7th or 8th visit to Paris so I know that hotel staff do not go out of their way to be this helpful. So thank you Djamila and Mounir. Your manager should be proud of you.||The hotel was exceptionally clean. Linen changed daily. Bed comfortable and despite it being a smallish room, it had a safe, a fridge, air conditioning, a window which could be opened, coffee & tea making facilities, hangers which were not attached to the cupboard space and an adequately appointed toilet/shower. It also has an elevator.||The Imperial is on a quiet street just north of the large stores on Blvd Haussman and close to the main Opera. It also has 3 large churches within a short walk and the Grand Synagogue virtually opposite. There are numerous eating places around if you don’t have breakfast at the hotel. For the price, the breakfast was quite adequate with hot food & cold cuts; cheeses, fruit, yogurt, juices and a coffee machine which delivered better coffee than most machines.||I had a very happy & comfortable stay at Hotel Imperial on rue de la Victoire and will definitely return on...

My girlfriend had originally booked a different hotel, but for some reason we were placed at Hotel Imperial Paris. On the second night, we came back to the hotel only to find two men waiting for us in the lobby – the owner and the concierge. They claimed we had to pay for the room, even though the full amount had already been charged to the credit card two days earlier.
They had blocked our key cards, so we couldn’t even access our belongings. The whole situation felt incredibly uncomfortable and borderline threatening. This was something that should have been settled between the two hotels, not taken out on us as guests.
This is absolutely not how you treat people staying at your hotel. I’m glad I didn’t give in and pay again, because I would’ve ended up paying double. Unprofessional, not guest-friendly, and definitely not a place I...
Read moreMy wife and I were staying in Paris with my daughter as tourists to see most of the primary attractions. Having never been there, we chose it based on location which was pretty good sitting between many of the major places to see. It's within a few blocks of three different train routes (metro city train). This said, bring your walking shoes. A lot of old school charm which includes many cobble stone streets.||||The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel sits on a very quiet street - it's off the beaten path in comparison to surrounding streets. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast only because we wanted to try the local restaurants but it smelled great every morning as it was being made. ||||Our room had refrigerator and a hot plate for making coffee and tea. The room and the bathoom were plenty big enough for the...
