Once again with the power of crowd sourcing, I came to know of this restaurant serving Italian food. We were very surprised with the quality of food and service. The salad was Burrata Cheese with cherry tomatoes and greens. They served Balsamic vinaigrette (from Modena Italy) with good EVOO. I wish the bagette were a little warm. The main course was Vegetarian pasta in arrabbiata sauce, Salmon in Alfredo sauce and Chicken pizza. All the three items were really good. They also brought in some chilli EVOO which was divine. On adding this oil to our dishes, the flavors just popped! The final dessert Tiramisu, was okay. The serving container needs an upgrade and somehow the lady finger did not have the moistness I am used to. Overall, a place I whole heatedly recommend. I was referred by the desk clerk at my hotel. I tried the gnocchi with carbonara sauce. It was good. The sauce was rich and tasty with a lot of pancetta. The gnocchi were firm but a bit bland. I wished I’d tried a different pasta. The great thing about this place is you pick the sauce and the type of pasta you want. I guess for Paris this was affordable, but for 18€, I expected more. Maybe some bread? I loved that the straw for my Coke Zero was pasta!!

Mediocre at best - the service wasn’t great, they were not friendly and didn’t check on us during our meal. I’d agree with the other reviews that said this food is not great - in our case, we ordered pesto & a pizza. The pesto desperately needed some acid and salt. The pizza was flavorful but the crust was a little burned and there was hardly any sauce. We had amazing Italian in other parts of the city with much better service. I’d skip this place.

Terrible Experience – Avoid at All Costs!

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this place truly deserves a warning to others. Honestly, you’re better off staying at home and cooking something simple yourself — it would still taste better than the disgusting food they serve here.

First of all, the service was incredibly slow and inattentive. It felt like they couldn’t care less if we were there or not. And to top it all off, they gave us the wrong bill and tried to charge us more for this awful meal. Absolutely unacceptable.

The food itself was a disaster. The vitello tonnato was nothing like it should be — instead of thinly sliced veal, they served us thick, chewy chunks that were impossible to enjoy. Half of the menu wasn’t even available, and the pasta — something you’d think no kitchen could mess up — was simply inedible. Bland, cold, and downright nasty.

I strongly advise anyone thinking of eating here to reconsider. Save your money, your time, and your stomach — go literally...

I went to CASA COSA purely because on google maps it showed up as one of the top restaurants that are open late on a Sunday night. Google maps says they close at midnight on Sundays. Their website says they close at 11:30 on Sundays. I showed up at 10:50 and the main host/ possible owner told me they are closed. I told him that google maps says the close at 12, and instead of giving me an answer he just simply shrugged.

I was sitting outside charging my phone trying to figure out what my next steps should be, and all of sudden the host comes out again and berates me for using his “electricity”. Not only did he go off on using said electricity, he insinuated that I was dumb for not understanding that they’re closed.

I understand all the tropes about the French being cold, but he was pure insulting. Heavily reconsider dining here as I wouldn’t want anyone going through a similar experience.

Management, if you see this, change your damn opening hours on google maps and...
