Hello, we decided to leave the Hotel Korner Montparnasse after only one night of accommodation instead of 3 nights as payed for the following reasons: The room was extremely small for 3 people, we could not fit our luggage in the room - The room was extremely hot and the air conditioning system was not working (although in place in the room, it had a sign that it is not available due to water leakage - the room had only one small fan which was only noisy and not changing at all the sense of temperature - the window of the room was on the 1st floor above a crowded street and if you opened it you could hear all sounds from nearby traffic - the bathroom was dirty, the air conditioning system probably was never cleaned and the room did not have even basic services like toilet paper or soap or any other bathroom basic services - the same lady who cleaned the rooms was the one serving to us water or ice during the breakfast! - I tried to explain this to the hotel manager at the reception and he replied that I have to contact booking.com because he can not do anything since it was his first day at the specific hotel. I know that getting refund for the 2 nights we didn’t use in this hotel might not be approved but I really wanted Hotel Korner Montparnasse and booking.com to know and understand that such service is not considered satisfactory. Please note that our reservation includes 2 rooms for 2 different families: our family, who decided to leave and look for other hotel without booking.com and a second family who decided to continue staying in Korner Montparnasse until Monday although they had the same bad experience. Please let me know if we should expect some kind of refund for this experience. Also please keep in mind that we managed to find a much better room with much better services just down the road today with much less cost than Hotel Korner Montparnasse and we booked it directly.|Such an experience from Hotels of a well known brand should...
Read moreThis was my first time staying in Paris so I have no basis for comparison. However, this hotel seems like a reasonable value for the city. I stayed 5 nights and felt comfortable with my home for the week. |It was very basic with no refrigerator or safe, but the room itself was well lit and sufficiently spacious. The bed was comfortable. There was a small TV on the wall, a small desk and chair, and a shelf with a hanger rod with hangers for hanging clothes. The window could be opened to let in fresh air and get a nice view of the neighborhood. Although each room seems to be somewhat different, the space in my bathroom was very limited - only a small amount of counter space around the sink and the toilet was squeezed in between the shower and the wall.|The location was convenient. Gare Montparnasse a short walk in one direction and Pasteur metro station on line 12 a few minutes by foot in the other direction. A Fran Prix supermarket also just down the street.|I didn't have breakfast at the hotel during my stay, but coffee and juices were available all the time. |Probably the most delightful part of my stay was the staff. Everyone I interacted with was extremely pleasant, spoke pretty good English and was eager to help.|If I visit Paris again in the future, I will consider the Hotel Korner...
Read moreI had a pleasant stay in the Korner Montparnasse. The service was great and the employees were polite. It was a pleasure to talk with a receptionist about the recommended monuments to visit. The location of this hotel is excellent. It's pretty close to the metro station "Pasteur" and the hotel borders with many good small restaurants and with a shop to the right of the hotel's main entrance. However, the rooms were pretty little. There were no tables nor closets (maybe at least in our room it was so. Still, I recommend not taking a big/many baggage-s) still there was a shelf where I could store some of my stuff. In addition to that, this hotel's rooms don't have cups nor a teapot to make tea or water and I needed to go downstairs to make it. In my point of view, Korner Montparnasse seems to have a family-like atmosphere which seems to be great. To conclude, I recommend this hotel for the visitors who plan to mostly walk around Paris.
I sincerely wish for this hotel to continue achieving new heights and Merci for...
