Tucked away in the streets of Paris is this INCREDIBLE family run restaurant. I read the reviews online and went. I was unsure if it was the same restaurant as the pictures show because the decor was simple.
The service and food, however !
Oh my god ! Delicious !!
I have never in my life come across somewhere that uses ingredients this fresh . The baguettes we ate were delivered mere moments ago we ordered. The owner and his daughter make the most fantastic team . They speak French, and the daughter is talented and speaks English too.
We ate - Enteee - Croustillant de gambas ( shrimp/ prawns ) ; it is an entree with side salad . Entree- concasse de avocado et salmon et maquereaux fumé ( avocado chopped up salad with salmon ) Main - filet de bass ( Sea bass filet , crispy on the one side and tender with side of vegetables) Main - côtes d'agneau ( the lamb ribs with a side of vegetables). Dessert - Moelleux chocolate glaze ( chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cram and Raspberry drizzle)
I think I was blown away with the flavour and freshness. The owners were kind and accommodated us with so much grace ! We communicated in broken French and (better than my frech ) English . The only critique is maybe just update simple decor items like table flower pieces or maybe update the paint a little modern if they can . It would be nice if they could add proper vegetarian options like grilled/tossed vegetables with a protein such as lentils or tofu for anyone who is not eating fish and meat . However, I must reiterate that the service and meals are testament to Parisian cuisine. We spent about 88 euros for 2 people.
The food is PHENOMENAL. It's worth a visit and should be a humble eatery everyone visits for the food alone. I can completely understand why this place is rated so high. And I will also rate it 5 stars. This restaurant has made my first night perfect night into France 🇫🇷. Thank-you!!! Thankyou...

Read moreTHIS PLACE!! WOW! I can’t say enough wonderful things about it. We knew it was going to be good when the owner and chef, Marco, went down the street to the local bakery to get us fresh baguettes. Because we are American we were there right when he opened 😜 then he proceeded to explain all the yumminess on the menu…I pulled seniority and took the last Veal and FO Aristotle got the scallops. They were both soooo good! And Marco took the time to explain things to us and chat even though our French was non-existent. The atmosphere was like we were friends eating at his dinner party. I can’t say enough good things about it. Go eat with Marco at Le46 near the Montparnasse area! You won’t be...
