Let me first say that without question the location is excellent and the staff were very professional and service oriented. They really tried to help and make our stay as comfortable as possible. This hotel was chosen by my wife due to the 4 star rating in Expedia. We started our European vacation last week of September visiting 7 countries. We selected all our hotels via Expedia 3-4 stars ratings. Out of the all the hotels we stayed, this hotel really disappointed us with their room accommodations and breakfast buffet. This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. At the very least 2-3 stars. I have attached the pictures of the bathroom. As you can see the windows, the door has not been taken care properly. The paint is peeling. The phone is almost about to fall. The room on the second floor was small which is fine. It is your typical room in Europe. As I had mentioned we stayed at 6 other hotels with 3 and 4 stars rating. The room has a small refrigerator and coffee maker. However, there is only one power outlet. In our room, the coffee maker was plugged in but the fridge was not. When we opened the fridge, there was some soda and a bad smell which means, it was not use for a long time. We decided to use the fridge instead. But it was not working. We called the front desk and they replaced it right away. But we also wanted to use the coffee maker. So we use the other outlet in the room for the coffee maker. Come morning time we left for breakfast and stroll in Paris. We left a note for our room to be made up for the day. When we return the room was not properly clean and was obvious that they did not vacuum the room since we saw some hair in the bathroom. And this time there was no power in the room. We concluded they were not able to use the vacuum because there was not power. We contact the front desk and the person really tried to help us asking if we did something wrong with the electric. We responded, it was working when we left. Since this was a Sunday, no one was around so she had us change to another room. After some conversation, she told us that you cannot use the coffee maker and the fridge at the same time. That is why it was unplugged. This is a 4 star rated hotel and you only have one plugged between the coffee maker and the fridge? Why would you even have a the two appliances in the room if they are not able to operate at the same time? At this time, I raised the issue of the bathroom and windows. I know we paid as lower rate but is this acceptable to have a room not properly maintained just because the rate is lower? Lastly, the breakfast you offered was really very disappointing. The quality of the ham and cheese you have is the same ham and cheese I saw at the monoprix around the corner. At least, I can say the croissant was the best I have eaten compared with the other hotels we visited. But you offered the least quality of choices. Since it was in our package, we did not pay but we saw a price of 20 Euros if you pay on your own. I am really sorry to say, I would not pay 20 Euros for this kind of breakfast. To the Expedia staff, you are doing a disservice to your customers by rating this hotel as 4 stars. It is NOT. 2-3 at best. Paris was our last stop before going home. We really wanted to splurge a bit with a 4 star hotel. We trusted Expedia that when you rate a hotel at 4 stars, we expected a 4 star hotel accommodations. Lesson learn for us. You pay what you get for. But you failed us. We've been to Europe many times and always have nice hotels base on your ratings. You completely miss this one. If I was on a budget trip, I will stay here and not expect too much. To hotel management, please do not sell a room when it's appliances are broken, when outlets are not properly attached and maintenance is needed between the windows and paint peeling with the walls. I am not expecting perfection but at least a proper well maintained room with working equipment. Sincerely

It is a cozy small hotel at the heart of Montparnasse. There are plenty of cafes and bistrots nearby if you crave something. It is also close (5 min walk) to Denfert-Rochereau metro and bus station from where you can take a direct bus to Orly or a direct train (RER) to CDG airport. We stayed at the hotel for a couple of days and we enjoyed it immensely. The rooms are small but cozy and ours had a nice street view. Breakfast was always fresh and delicious (juice, croissants, coffee, eggs, jam, butter). I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to return there!

A poucos metros do metro, autocarros e comodidades. Sugerimos que você continue a desenvolver e melhorar as instalações do hotel. Este lugar tem muito potencial e força. Há algo a explorar para fazer sempre mais e melhor. Eu agradeço.

A nice Hotel although not worthy of a 4-Star label anymore with some organizational/discipline issues. You can see that it probably once was a 4-star Hotel, but its a bit passed by in style and not quite kept up with in some areas. Its nice and "tasty" but not overly stylish or elegant. The room is simple, has a nice old/expensive(probably) bed frame and mirror with the same wood frame. It has a Parisian Balcony! Nice view although a bit limited, but I didnt expect a balcony at all, so this was a nice touch. Not much ground to stand on, but its good in the morning to have a look or have the balcony doors open and listen to the outside. There is a huge cupboard in the room which has no purpose except the kettle thats on it, and it really makes the room small. Theres not much distance between the cupboard and the bed to walk through. Its a nice old cupboard/cabinet, but I would just ditch it. You could still put something smaller or thinner there if you wanna fill the room out. The elevator takes quite long and is small, the stairs next to it are very wide. Funny contrast. There are nice, small, framed animal paintings on the wall. The bed had wheels which arent visible and are very small, but there was a problem with 1 wheel and as soon as I layed onto the bed, that side sank/crashed. They probably would have given me another room, but I didnt care to even mention it, as Im kind of simple and was fine with just staying on one side of the bed. The doozy for me is carelessness. There was a service room right next to my room and the doors were squeaking. Its very loud and woke me up a couple of times, in the end left my sleep a bit short before my check-out. This is pure wrecklessness as its an easy fix. You should care for the noises this causes to the customer and just oil the door. So upon checking out (1 night stay), I adressed these 2 things at the desk. The Lady said shed give me a 20% discount on the night. Its a nice gesture, although not much for me, not proportionate enough for me to the sleep that was taken.

The receptionists are French or at least European, speak English well and are very friendly...

This is my first time at this wonderful botique hotel in Paris which is the type of hotel I adore when I visit citieis in Europe and it did not disappoint. I had a lovely 4 days ciry break and I had an amazing experience. What made this wonderful boutique hotel so special? ||Wel, where will I start. The team running the hotel from the front desk could not be more helpful polite and respectful and as my visiti was also partly business to do with important meetings and research, it was essentail that I had a quality team surroudning me each day as I completed my important project in Paris from confirming meetings, making appoiintments, organising cars, advise about cafes and restaurants ..the list was comprensive but each task was carried out meticulouly wihout a glitch. I would particulary recommend this hotel for solo professionals in Paris on business as well as couples wanting to discover all the exciting magnicificant locations in this wonderful city,||I was upgraded whout asking to a lovely superior room on the fifth floor.||The petit déjeuner was everything I wanted and more and there were very healthy choices which is important to me as I avoid high fat, high salt , high sugar options which were not thankfully on the menus here ..I am passionate about healthy eating and so the many choices were just perfectly tailored to me. I have always loved the 14th and this hotel confirms this one more time . I will be back soon ..in fact I do not really want to leave as the location is perfect and it is so safe as I value my security now more than ever before ..Merci a tous...xxx...Merci Serene...Vous êtes un humanitaire extraordinaire et vous faites honneur à ce...
