Wow. If you like to have trouble finding a surface you can look at without being close a seizure, this is the perfect place for you. Also, it’s worth a visit alone because if you have been here, you will never say a lobby or hotel room are uninviting ever again. You will compare it against this hotel and you’ll instantly feel a bit more comfortable. Here, they did everything, I’m serious, everything, to make you feel like you’re spending the night in a sterile hospital environment. Bright white lighting in the lobby and the rooms, bright yellow and purple surfaces with disturbing patterns that make you wish for a stable horizon in your sight. However, the clean look is followed by an actually clean room and the staff are friendly – as soon as you make it past the computer terminal asking you to check in yourself. Integration with business booking apps like Egencia is virtually non-existent. So either you or the agent have to record all your data again, despite you already having entered it tediously in the booking process. If you’d like to ground yourself on how hospitable places actually are in relation to other places, come here. I‘d like to salute the person who went through with this concept for their sheer stubbornness. I’m sure everyone around them told them to rethink, in the name of the lord, if this is the right path. Yet they thought: „a path is not walked, it is made.“ Thank you for this experience. I will treat future hotel visits and the ambience at all other places with a new eye. Good luck and a happy...
Read moreI liked: The modern, funky design might not to be everybody's taste (in which case, there are lots of very boring-looking hotels you could stay at instead) but importantly it's not just unusual but very well-designed as well. The rooms have been very well thought through and the bathroom is the best I have ever found in a hotel, or in fact anywhere. Plenty of space, everything you would need at hand, solid fixtures and it all works perfectly, and the basin is bright yellow! The room has mirrors everywhere and the bed is super-comfy, storage space is clever and sensible, good aircon or a nice big window to open depending on your taste, proper cotton bedding, cool lighting options.... and so on. The reception doubles as a 24 hour bar and it's reasonably priced. Breakfast is very good, nice selection of very good quality stuff, good coffee. Exceptionally friendly staff who chat to you as well as just answering queries.
I didn't like: Hardly anything. It is in the middle of Hannover, on a main road, so rooms at the front have some traffic noise. I would have liked a secure bike storage area rather than locking them to a stand in the car park. Otherwise it was fantastic and I would...
Read moreLet me start by writing that the service in the hotel is really 0 stars. So dissppointed. ||The room and the decor is really a breath of fresh air. So nice with all the colours. The room is a good size. Also the bathroom is nice. Lots of room but the so called waterfall shower should be fixed. It was leaking so not enough water coming out. |When you give a free drink because the room does not get cleaned everyday you should make sure there are enough handsoap, showergel and toiletpaper. You can ask the reception for more if neaded but they never give you any. ||There are a lot of noise in the room from people next door, people having meetings at night in the hallway(usually from midnight till 1.30 at night) and a really loud aircon(and it was never turned on, so dont know why it made such a loud noise. ||I stayed there as part of a roadtrip for 3 nights and I do find it in a good location. I got way over 10000...
