Hotel Lamm — Hotel in Stuttgart

Positive:The location of the hotel is nice. Just 3 min walking distance and you are in the tram station. ||If you are not looking for any comfort and just need a place to sleep, this hotel is acceptable for maximum 2 nights. You can simply see that the hotel is not rated with stars..||||Negative: We entered the hotel and there is no reception, there is just one small table on the corridor that they use as reception point. The lady said us hello and then asked if we pay cash or credit card. I asked if its possible to go to the room, put the luggage and pay in the end and she answered that we cant get the rooms if we dont pay now. The breakfast quality is very poor and limited. The building is such old and needs urgent renovation. You hear every single sound from the corridor. The whole bathroom is very small and there is no movement possibility on the shower cabin. Price&quality ratio is very low but please keep in mind, all hotels in Stuttgart...

I have stayed here twice, just to see if there is something wrong with me... The second time the chinese owner wonderd what i was doing and asking me unpolite if i was a guest. The place is run down, they had a chinese restaurant which had to close and even the rooms they do not know how to clean. So most of it is falling apart and need to be cleaned (but no bugs). I reservated a room for one night at a time after each other (so total 2 nights on two different reservation). When I arrived i payed for both nights, I showed the owner both reservations and he looked at them! When I came home I got a letter that the hotel had withdrawn a night from my account becourse of a no show... Wrote a letter and mail to them wanting to have my money back, they still have not answered. Another bad thing about the place is that there are no restaurants near the place on sundays, so you have to take the tram 15 min downtown or 10 min to...

Hotel Lamm is a small family run hotel that unfortunately is rather tired. Our room was small, and noisy, as it faced the road. There were no bottles of water provided and the hairdryer was of poor quality. The bathroom was one of the smallest I have come across, and the shower itself was passable - hot water but the shower head could do with being replaced. Breakfast was disappointing and would benefit with the addition of a few pastries and a wider variety of breads. Cooked breakfast was boiled eggs. The website says there is left luggage but the owner and was very reluctant to look after our bags for this. Great location if you want to visit Das Leuze. We definitely do not...
