Quite possibly some of the slowest service I’ve ever experienced. And not so much from the waiters and waitresses but from the kitchen. This place primarily serves Ramen and Sushi. Fairly straight forward menu with no really difficult rolls or anything to make. The place was maybe at 70% capacity and when we ordered we were informed sushi was taking 30 minutes. 1 hour and 15 minutes later the sushi was brought to our table. 5 minutes after that my ramen was placed. With seating, ordering, paying, etc. this gave us roughly 30 minutes to eat and stand up within our 2 hour reservation and just in time for our 2000 show at Porsche Arena. This was a 1745 reservation.
If you have guests sitting for over an hour for food I suggest offering water or edamame on the house… our drinks were near finished before we got our dinner. Beyond that, you’ll have to figure out kitchen efficiencies 🤪
Lastly, the food would rate 7/10. Probably some of the best in Stuttgart but not necessarily near good or the best you’ve had if you’ve ever traveled and experienced really good ramen or sushi. For the Edamame I recommend tossing them for your flavored ones. The garlic wasabi coating was just on the top few,...
Read moreAbsolutely amazed! They restaurant is really cute and the personal so kind and helpful!
The food is delicious and I can't say anything for the price.
I have gluten allergy and as soon as I Informed the personal they made sure to give me many gluten free options.
I orded miso soup, which was perfect, not to sallty no to bland just perfect 👌
For my surprise the sushi rice also contains small amounts of gluten ( due the way that the prepare it) so the made sure to make my order with "normal rice" which doesn't contain gluten.
They even brought me gluten free soy sauce. Something that I really appreciate.
Unfortunately though the desserts aren't gluten free 😭 but I wouldn't be able to know this if the nice personal wouldn't have checked even the ice-cream ingredients. Yes I was "sad" for not being able to eat a dessert, but I was happy in the same time cause the really gave attention to my needs..
5 stars for me and I will definitely...
Read moreSummary: Feels like an authentic Japanese restaurant, with real tasty food! I suggest making a reservation beforehand.
About the restaurant: The menu includes some Japanese classics that go beyond sushi. Yes, there is sushi here too, but what got me real excited was the Udon, Ramen & Don in many different variations. The dessert menu has interesting choices, that still ring japanese - but more the type of sweets that are trending in Japan nowadays, and not as much the most traditional recipes. The ambiance definitely feels Japanese - authentic Japanese flair in a german looking building. The staff was really friendly too!
My personal choices: Got a vegetarian miso ramen and it was very good and the portion was generous. The dessert was amazing, with ice cream in two flavours: green tea (really nice) and sesame seed (amazing, one of the best ice creams I have eaten...
