We stay at the high-end luxury hotels regularly. When you pay a high room rate and it’s a 5 star hotel you expect service I’m not saying this is not a good hotel only there is some room for improvement. ||||Check in was not what we expected from past Ritz stays. Nobody in front of the hotel. Nobody to help with luggage or to park the car. We went in and the employee at the front desk was friendly. We had to ask for luggage assistance and valet parking though. Not what you would expect! (the Ritz in Berlin knows how this works so maybe they need some education) ||||The room was very nice. Large layout with a very good balcony. The view was nice (both in the day and in the evening/night) Large bathroom and large shower. No bath tube (which was ok) The balcony had a large table with chairs so you could eat and drink wine on the balcony. Also large chairs for relaxing and the privacy was better than expected. The bed is comfy, I always sleep like a baby in The Ritz.||The location is right in the center of autostadt. Very nice and the park is also good for evening walks. We enjoyed the park very much. Very clean.||||We had dinner on one night. The food was ok but not 5-star quality. The pricing was 5-star quality. Value for money is not in balance. ||||The pool was great. Water temperature was a big plus (coming from hotels without pool heating) the view is nice. The service in the spa is above and beyond. The ladies working there are the best.||||Breakfast was good. Quality of the food is high. Most of the waiters are very friendly and pro-active. There was one guy who comes to mind. He stood above the rest with regards of proactive service. Very good coffee.||||||Check out was better than check in. The manager reacted pro active on our comments. I will not say complaints though it was not the Ritz experience...
Read moreOur stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Wolfsburg was truly beyond expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, checked in early, and even upgraded to a stunning suite, such a thoughtful gesture that made us feel genuinely special. We also received a complimentary breakfast, thank you Nicole from guest relations 🙏 it was absolutely delicious, with made-to-order eggs and a rich, varied buffet.
The entire hotel is immaculate, every space is spotless and beautifully maintained. The attention to detail is remarkable, from the perfectly folded towels to the personalized welcome cards. We visited with our young child, who was thrilled to receive his own bathrobe, a gift set, and personalized coloring materials. He loved the hotel so much he didn’t want to go back home.
The pool area was the highlight, it’s massive and warm, we swam in late October perfectly fine. The spa and gym were equally pristine, and the staff there and everywhere were kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to help.
Our suite was elegant, spacious, and exceptionally comfortable. Every interaction from the front desk to the team helping us with the car and restaurant was handled with such care and professionalism.
Being right in the Autostadt made the experience even better. We got our tickets directly from the hotel and spent a wonderful day exploring. It’s a perfect destination for both adults and kids. Fun, relaxing, and inspiring.
A huge thank you to the entire Ritz-Carlton team for making our stay so memorable. You made us feel special, cared for, and truly at home. We can’t wait...
Read moreClemens Jesse has made our stay! Wonderful reception after haven driven for 7 hours. He is very attentive, positive and organizes things in the background without you even asking. In addition to leaving handwritten notes show attention to detail and care and puts a smile on your face. He walks with you to the elevator, it's just he small things you don't see anymore and I'm on the road every month at different Marriots. Moreover, the hotel team works together like a perfect symphony and make you feel very welcome and comfortable. The spa and swimming pool is great and add to the experience. The room is superb and the espresso in the room is another level (even though it's your typical Nespresso machine), maybe it's the combination of the coffee type and the water bottle high in minerals. The bed is super comfortable and we were able to sleep and catchup on our lack of sleep. The only downside is the restaurant, I expected a bit more seen it is next to a Michelin restaurant, the menu was unimaginative, redundant, and overkill with random sorbets thrown in, that was a little disappointing. Don't get me wrong, nothing is bad, but also nothing is great. It just hovers around average which doesn't rhyme with the Ritz quality standard. However the burger and fries, in the Lobby are a killer and melts in your mouth , as well as the chocolate cake. Stick to the lobby or the Michelin restaurant but skip the restaurant. Other than that, can't wait to come back and bring the kids as well. The general manager mentioned there is a nice treasure hunt and kids...
