Strange Brew Taproom & Bottleshop — Restaurant in Athens

It's a shame that I haven't discovered the place sooner. I stayed in Athens for few days, but got to know this place on my last evening in the city only. The place is brewery, pub and beer shop, all in one. I believe that customers get in contact with pub and beer shop parts only. Regarding the shop, you can find offer of both local and imported beers. One of the guys working at the place recommended me some good ones and I also bought bunch of beer bottles to take home. Depending on the uniqueness and exclusivity of beer, the price might vary very much. Specifically from this brewery, I liked Mandy Black, which is stout. The guys working at the place seems to be enthusiasts into beer and were giving me an impression of those not that professional, but very friendly people. Someone you would talk to over a beer, not someone who wants your money. If you even slightly like beer, or if you are willing to explore and find out some new interesting places, I really recommend to give this one a try. You will have a nice...

🍺 Good draft beer (€3.5-8), good vibes, and great for dates or hang sessions with groups (up to 6 people). Outdoor and indoor seating. They also sell GREAT T-shirts (see photos for graphics—I’m waiting for a long sleeve version). They also have a fridge with cans & bottles from other craft breweries (Greek + other EU countries). Nice collection at reasonable prices.

♿️ NOT accessible (one medium step to get in) and no accessible bathroom (very narrow and no bars). Tables are all very tall. Only stools. And they have fans, but it is hot.

A very cool place to hang out. Top quality house beers (e.g. The Wizard) and quite a variety of beers from other breweries, local and foreign. They also serve a few nice labels of whisky and other drinks. I liked the vibe a lot when we visited with a friend of mine, even if it is small and was literary packed! The pricing is pretty much decent. We visited once more with my girlfriend as they operate as a takeaway bottleshop during the lockdown. It's a place that hopefully I am going to visit often...
