We had an incredible experience at Mprakatsaki! The food was absolutely amazing — full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with love. What made it even more special was the kindness and attentiveness of the people there. We were dining with a child who has food allergies, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was safe. The lady who does the cooking even came out personally to explain all the ingredients and took great care in preparing dishes that would be allergy-friendly. My family and I randomly came across this lovely little restaurant on a sunny day in mid-June, and we immediately fell in love with the place. Not only is the owner incredibly hospitable, but the guests—many of whom have become his friends—create such a welcoming atmosphere that you feel right at home. Traditional coffee place with kitchen, not really a taverna, where locals go to hang out after work or play cards or watch a sport game in tv. Raki and ouzo are served in small chilled bottles.
