A dream, a paradise. A beautiful apartment in a setting reminiscent of a small village of typical Greek houses. The views are incredible, and the sunsets fill the surroundings with the magic of the Greek atmosphere. The pool is perfect for a dip after returning from the beach. The facilities are very clean, and the atmosphere is peaceful and pleasant. The apartment is incredible, with a porch at the entrance with beautiful tables and chairs, a shaded interior patio with a dining table, and a clothesline. Equipped with everything you need: a microwave, non-drip and capsule coffee makers, a kettle, a toaster, a juicer, a stove, a refrigerator, a hairdryer, air conditioning, and a fan. It also has cleaning and hygiene products. Crysanthi, the owner, is super friendly and kind, always attentive to our every need. The receptionist and the cleaner were also very kind, always smiling and welcoming. There's a supermarket across the street, and nearby are plenty of gift shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and places to have a good time. The food is so good in Greece! The apartment is half an hour from the capital, Heraklion, and half an hour from Agios Nikolaos and Elounda. It's also 1 hour and 43 minutes from Rethymno, a must-see city with a beautiful old town, canals, shops, and incredible restaurants. We will definitely return. Great for families! Beautiful and cozy property, very tastefully decorated with attention to every last detail. Everything is impeccably clean and the host goes out of her way to make her guests comfortable. The location is perfect - there is a supermarket literally in front of the property, making it easy to make your own meals in the well-equipped apartment kitchens. Restaurants, bars, a pharmacy, a medical center, and many more amenities are only a few meters from the Porto Sisi. Despite their location in the middle of town, the apartments are nice and quiet and right next to the sea, offering beautiful views. There is a nice pool and comfortable lawn chairs and sunshades. Bufo beach can be reached via a short walk. That beach usually has a strong surf, which our kids enjoyed a lot. Two lawn chairs and a sunshade are €10/day there and there is a bar that also offers snacks at the beach. When it's too windy there, you can go to the city beach which is protected by a pier and therefore offers tranquil waters. The sunbeds provided there can be used free of charge. We stayed heare for 10 nights in mid-September 2022. Perfect time to visit Crete as the weather was wonderful without being ridiculously hot, and the resort of Sisi wasn't too busy. ( I expect it gets very crowded during July & August). The apartment was rustic and charming. Daily cleaning service a real bonus. The bed was huge and very comfortable, but the shower was quite small. Very basic kitchenette - fine for breakfast but you couldn't really cook in it, although this didn't really matter given there must be 15 retsurants and tavernas in easy walking distance. We particularly loved swimming in the calm and sheltered harbour, and if you get bored with the pool the nearest beach is a 10 minute walk away, but it is quite hilly and the sand isn't great. There is a beautiful beach further round the headland in front of a very smart hotel resort, with sunbeds and parasols to rent and a little cafe, but it is quite difficult to get there as you have to walk over large rocks - not for anbody with...
