Plakias Resorts — Hotel in Municipality of Agios Vasileios

First and foremost the staff is very friendly and more than helpful! They have provided us with a great apartment with a view of two of the many Pools and even the sea. There is enough parking area to park your car.

Entering the apartment we’ve found a fruit basket, water and wine as a welcoming gift. The room was a bit warm when entering, this due to energy saving and the hotel being environmentally responsible. However, this is no problem as they provide two powerful airconditioners that are capable enough to cool the apartment down quickly.

As the hotel is kid-friendly they provide a big pools where most of the kid attractions are(table-tennis, children playground, grass field, paddle court, and probably more) for people without kids there are many pools surrounding the facility that provide calmness and enough sun for sunbathing.

The beach is literally a minute roll (yes roll not stroll) away. Once on the beach you’ll find a beach bar with sun beds which we believe is owned by the resort. Left and right, on the beach, there are other beach bars. The beach stretches all the way to the city next to Plakias Resorts.

This complex of self-catering rooms on various levels and of various sizes is practically the last building along the seafront road going east out of Plakias village. I found it rather under-occupied; the pools were hardly used, though they were cleaned every morning, at the same time as a team of cleaners swept the pavements around them. There are a few sunbeds, but each ground-floor room like mine had a little patio seating area, mostly screened by hedges and small trees. The self-catering facilities seemed to be excellent, with cooker, fridge and a good range of crockery, cutlery and pans. Beach towels were changed very couple of days, and bedding and bath towels were changed even more frequently than necessary. Residents have free use of the Resort's beach sunbeds. I recently stayed at Plakias Resort and had a fantastic experience overall. The resort itself is amazing—modern, clean, and very well-maintained. The location is perfect, just a short walking distance to a market and small shopping center, which made it very convenient for picking up anything we needed.

The beach nearby is beautiful, and the beach bar is a great spot to relax and enjoy the view with a drink in hand. Everything felt peaceful and easygoing, ideal for a relaxing holiday.

The only downside I noticed was the lack of entertainment. Unlike some nearby hotels that offered live music, poolside zumba, and other fun activities, Plakias Resort didn’t have an entertainment team or organized events. If you're looking for a more lively or social atmosphere in the evenings, this might be something to consider.
