Kyma Seaside Meze Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Alimos

Unfortunately, we had an unpleasant experience at this restaurant due to the unprofessional conduct of the management.

A member of the staff approached us to ask that we calm our children, despite the fact that they were behaving appropriately. When I spoke directly with the person responsible, he admitted he wasn’t sure if it was our children who were making noise, yet he still instructed someone to address us.

There was a brief moment when another group of children entered the restaurant to use the restroom. They were noticeably louder and were running around for a short time. This may have been the incident the manager was referring to — but if he wasn’t sure whether it involved our children, why approach us in such an unfriendly and accusatory way? He offered no apology and handled the situation with a clear lack of professionalism.

There was just one other group dining close to our table at the time, so I took the initiative to speak with them directly. They were very friendly and assured me that our children were “lovely” and had done nothing disruptive (thank you folks!)

It’s no surprise the place was nearly empty — the poor management likely plays a big part in that.

As for the food—it was unremarkable. Given the overall experience, we won’t be returning. There are other options...

A large and expansive restaurant serving a good selection of seafood and grilled food. When i went was very quiet with amount of guests but at the same time very noisy with loud music and kids running around. When ordering the food and drinks the waiter took our order in two separate visits to the table which seemed odd. The food itself was nice enough, the seaford linguine was very tasty but the octopus starter was very tart and citrus which took away from the taste of octopus. Generally if the music was more relaxed, no kids running around and some slight adjustments to our starter would have been a lovely meal. worth a visit if you want to try somewhere you haven’t been before.

The restaurant exceeded all our expectations! The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. From the appetizers to the desserts, every dish was a delight.
