We had one of the studios on the ground floor for two persons.
The rooms were clean and equipped with all everyday necessities for the kitchen (e.g. a refrigerator, dishes for four persons, pans, a stove and a little oven, a delonghi coffee machine for pads as well as a regular coffee machine, towels, toothpicks, a corkscrew, etc.) and the bathroom (e.g. toilet paper, four big and four small towels, a washing machine and two detergent pods, a clothes drying rack with pegs, a washing bowl, shampoo and shower gel). The bed was very comfortable and the bed box offered additional/replacement blankets and bed linen.
Each studio has it's own veranda with a dining table and two sunbeds.
The guesthouse offered free WiFi and a smart-TV with the possibility to connect via Netflix, Youtube, etc. with your own account or to mirror IOS smartphones.
The room was equipped with air conditioning and also mosquito nets on every window and a pull-out net for the front door.
For our arrival the key was placed in a small storage locker next to the door that was opened using a pin code. The electricity of the rooms can be switched on using the key ring and turns off automatically when leaving wirh the key. The refrigerator is exempted and is running permanently.
Inside there were little presents waiting in the kitchen (e.g. cookies and crackers, tea bags, two coffee pads, some ground coffee, a bottle of water, orange juice, a bottle of wine, fruits, chocolate).
The personal was nice and we could contact them any time.
Shuttle transfer was also arranged for us and costed 50 Eur from and to the airport. The driver was very nice and on schedule, even in the...
Read moreEleni and her mum are running a great accommodation in Paleokastritsa. It's close to the beach and also next to the main road where you can find some restaurants and some supermarkets. It's a laid back area but just a couple of hundred meters to busier areas around. As soon as you rent a car or scooter you can do some sightseeing around. The apartment is perfectly equipped. You have a coffee mashine, an electric press to make your own orange juice in the morning, a fridge, a tiny stove, a microwave, a washing mashine... It's just perfect. When you walk in from the main street it feels like a laid back and relaxed place to stay. In the kitchen I found a tiny box with some stuff you may need and some goodies from the island. I really enjoyed staying there. Well I do even feel bad to have any complain. But I was part time working there. The Internet which should be very good was to weak for my laptop. So I have had to Hotspot with my mobile phone. Because I am from another European country it wasn't too expensive. They also tried to fix it. Her mum gave me LAN cable for a better connection but my device hasn't any entry for it. They also asked a technician to come over and had to order some new hardware which took longer than my stay. Just to be fair - they really tried their best and it was the first time for me at any of my stays in Greece someone tried so hard to...
Read moreOverall impression: 5 out of 5! Eleni's guesthouse is absolutely on point since Eleni (the host) paid attention to every single detail making you feel comfortable and like at home. The guesthouse has all amenities that you could ask including kitchen and electrical equipment. The decoration that is laid into the apartment is really on point making it relaxing, minimal and elegant while being really practical. Cleanliness of the space can not be leaved without a comment since it's really A+++ including the marvelous garden in front of the compartment. Location could not be better if you are looking for blue lagoons and beaches with endless blue-ish waters since it is located right in the heart of Paleokastritsa being able to visit all great beaches of the area on foot. Stunning place! Waking up and taking breakfast in this paradise really made me feel joy...
