Feakia — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Caution is advised! Following our booking, there was no communication from the host's end, and the accommodation arrangement left much to be desired. Unless you're comfortable taking a significant risk of having nowhere to stay, it's best to be cautious. We had reached out to the host several weeks prior to our planned arrival to ensure everything was in order. However, after a prolonged period of silence and only with Airbnb's intervention, the host, Spyridon, finally confirmed in writing six weeks prior to our scheduled arrival that everything was in order and they were expecting us.

To our dismay, exactly 14 days before our intended trip, the host abruptly canceled our reservation without offering any explanation, putting us in a challenging situation. Considering the host's unreliable behavior, it would be prudent for Airbnb and other booking platforms to reconsider listing this...

We had a terrible experience with the property manager. Apparently, he offers Feakia apartments on multiple booking platforms and whoever places the most favorable bid gets the place. He cancelled our existing booking without any excuses several days before our scheduled arrival. As we unfortunately found out after probing further, someone else booked the same place via another platform.…Imagine buying your plane tickets, arranging everything, only to hear your booking is being cancelled last minute. To rub salt to the wound, there is no other descent place you can possibly book on short notice because it is high season with 99% occupancy rate :(

I strongly advise against booking the Feakia properties unless you have a good travel insurance that covers last minute unilateral...

Please HELP my friends are too polite to solve the issue with Villa Argo. It so much mold there I can't breathe there. No one wants to disturb the holiday, so I need to write this review . Please HELP . Another side issue is that the kitchen is not furnished at all , i made tea to the plastic cup i brought. Avoid this accommodation and do not be polite when there is no need. EDIT after 8 nights: mold is still there we used to it . I started to sleep in "villa" not close to walls cos mosquitos were outside when I tried to survived on sunbed but Feakia has more places to stay so not all buulding units here are in the same condition I hope. EDIT at least they try to make it comfortable they do cleaning almost every day . Fresh towels . But...
