Paradise Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

(ENGLISH)||||Amazing place! We spent 11 days waking up to the best view in Corfu. The huge balcony was just perfect for eating breakfast or drinking a glass of wine at night. The house is very close to water (ca. 5 Minutes away) and is surrounded by tropical plants and has a big pool and a snack bar! :)||||Shops and very good restaurants (we highly recommend Dyonisos) are also a very short walk away. You can even rent a boat for a day, right there at the beach.||||The rooms have everything you might need (we found juice and water in the fridge, when we arrived late at night, so thoughtful...) and the friendly cleaning lady comes daily or, if you ask, she can skip a day if you just want to stay in your room and relax.||||Barbati is very green and peaceful, the family that owns the place treated us like friends and we also met a couple of adorable stray cats during our walks. All in all, we are 100% going to come back! Thank you so much! :)||||P.S. Pro tipp: the weather in September was still AMAZING and you have less tourists around you!! :)||||(GERMAN)||||Schön war es! Wir sind 11 Tage lang zu der (unserer Meinung nach) besten Aussicht in Corfu aufgewacht. Auf dem riesigen Balkon kann man perfekt frühstücken und abends gemütlich einen Weinchen trinken. Sonnen, natürlich, auch. Das Haus ist nur wenige Minuten vom Strand entfernt und umgeben von tropischen Pflanzen UND hat eine Snack Bar und einen Pool. :)||||Geschäfte (Lebensmittel und Urlaubssachen) sowie gute Restaurants findet man auch (Dyonisos war am Ende der Gewinner) entlang der Strasse, in der man wohnt. Alle haben einen Meerblick. Bootsvermietung gibt es auch (auch ohne Führerschein, es wird vor Ort alles erklärt) - wir haben sehr schöne Fotos von der Küste gemacht. Versucht auch, etwas Fischfutter mitzubringen und irgendwann unterwegs ins Wasser zu schmeissen. Uns sind ein Paar Brötchenkrümmel zufällig ins Wasser gefallen… nach wenigen Sekunden hörten wir ein lautes Platschen - das Stückchen wurde von einem grossen Fisch vernascht! Und er hatte Freunde dabei! :))||||Die Zimmer (wir hatten A1) hatten alles, was man braucht und die freundliche Putzfee kommt jeden Tag, wobei wir sie auch manchmal gebeten haben, einen Tag auszulassen, wenn wir nur faul im Zimmer bleiben wollten. Apropos Gastfreundlichkeit: als wir mitten in der Nacht ankamen, wartete auf uns eine Flasche Wasser und Saft im Kühlschrank. Hat uns sehr gefreut.||||Barbati ist schön und friedlich. Die Familie, die sich um alles kümmert hat uns sehr warm empfangen und für mich war noch wichtig, dass es freundliche Katzen hier und da gab, die unsere Spaziergänge noch schöner machten.

All I can do is praise this Mother and Son team , they made our stay so relaxing and welcoming . We arrived very late due to flight problems , and Maria and her son opened up the bar especially so we could wind down and settle the kids . The rooms had the most stunning view ,( although I can't speak for other ones , we were the second floor room 3 ) . Very basic , but clean , wonderful air conditioning which is VITAL in August!! , water and juice put in fridge for us . The bar , café next to the pool is ideal , if you just want to sit and watch the kids swim . the place is surrounded by olive , lemon and fig trees (the figs often drop and they let you eat them ). The pool is ideal size, unless you want to do some Olympic swimming , and we seemed to have it to ourselves most mornings , maybe its a British thing , or we were just lucky!, . 5 min walk down to gorgeous beach , better than IPSOS , YUCK . taverners along our road , I recommend the Little supermarket directly across our road too . Overall , it may not be the Ritz but the appartments were...

We arrived in paradise apartments on Saturday, after what can only be described as an awful start to our holiday.|When we arrived at the hotel, the welcome was nothing short of fantastic, we got help with our luggage and shown up to our room, which can only be described as the best view I have EVER seen.|Now everyone has their own standards and expectations of a room, to me if it's clean and the bed is comfy and the views and hospitality are amazing, that will do me, if you are bothered about a cracked tile or 2 then this isn't the place for you, but be assured you are missing out!!|Everything is a stones throw from the hotel, supermarket, bakery, tavernas and beach. You can't ask for much more.|I just want to touch on again the amazing hospitality shown my Maria and her son Phillipos, nothing was too much and we had a lovely laugh all together. |If you want true authentic Greece then...
