We passed Coffee Lovers on our way to the hotel and thought that it looked inviting, even though it was closed. We decided to go back the next morning for breakfast, and what a great decision that was. We received a warm welcome and our order was taken quickly. The coffee arrived and, as you would expect from the name, it was very good. Over several visits I tried americano, latte and Greek coffee and I can recommend them all. When the food arrived it was way beyond our expectations. I had only ordered scrambled eggs on toast but it was so well presented on the plate and it was as delicious as it looked. It certainly set us up for our first day in Corfu. Going back the next day was a no-brainer. This time I chose Greek yoghurt with fresh fruit and Granola and again it looked and tasted wonderful. The photo I have added is how Coffee Lovers do pancakes, one with fresh fruit and the other with Greek yoghurt and walnuts. Every day the service was warm and friendly and always with a smile. We always try to leave a tip in cash but on one occasion I had to put it on the card. That's when I noticed a nice touch for their staff; the server took the tip cash out of the till and put it in the tip jar. It's one way you can be sure that the staff get the tips. There was plenty of outdoor seating on the mornings that we visited though I did notice that on a couple of occasions some customers had to wait a short while for a table (something they seemed happy to do). There is parking adjacent to the café but it can fill up. We noticed one or two people leaving their car there and walking down to the beach which is unfair to both the business and their customers. That said, there is street parking nearby and a small supermarket if you need one. Corfu is a small island so if you are staying anywhere north of Corfu Town, on the eastern side, it won't take long to get there so you should treat yourself to at least one breakfast at...
