Bahia Mare — Restaurant in Municipality of Central Corfu and Diapontia Islands

Me and my husband tried to contact the venue through whatsapp - facebook and email and were ignored. This completely mirrored how we were treated once we arrived. We were Told very coldly to sit anywhere and someone would take our order . After 20 minutes of looking around we noticed the man who semi greeted us walking around the loungers almost waiting for someone to order something as if we did not exist. a customer then walked straight to the bar to order a beer from the bar man -he then drank it within 6 minutes and then ordered another to which the bar man nodded. I then walked over and asked if we could also have a beer. Well you would of thought i would of asked for solid gold. He rudely said for me to sit and wait and when i explained we had now waited 30 minutes he shrugged smirked and said we are short staffed. No apology- zero people skills. Clearly had no interest in his job at all. We travelled 30 minutes to get here- waste of time - rude...

Bahia Mare Beach Bar was one of our favorite spots, and we ended up spending more than half of our holiday there. One of the biggest advantages was its location - just a short distance from Nissaki, where we were staying (which, by the way, has a tiny beach). The beach bar is beautifully arranged, with comfortable sunbeds, a stylish bar and restaurant, and consistently good service. The sea was always calm, making it perfect for relaxing days by the water. Water shoes are a must because of the rocky seabed.

Sunbed prices ranged from €25 per set on the first day to €35 later on, and they do not include drinks or food. Bean bags cost €5. As for prices: cocktails were around €12, burgers €14, and smoothies €7.5. You can book your sunbeds online in advance, which I highly recommend if you’re visiting during busy hours.
