We stumbled upon Starlight on a rain soaked Saturday night having just arrived in Barbati. Yannis and his team welcomed us warmly and we had a wonderful meal. We returned several times during our stay and we were always greeted with warmth and familiarity.

They had a wide variety of dishes, both starters and mains, for vegetarians, and a number of traditional Corfiot dishes (with customary Italian-influenced dishes, given the history of the island). A wide variety of meat, fish and seafood. Their house wine was excellent too.

Finally the view over the bay was breath-taking at sunset, with pastel pinks and blues gently dusting the mountains of mainland Greece and Albania across the Corfu Channel. As night fell, you can see the twinkling lights of Kerkyra (Corfu town) to the South.

When we arrived we were promptly greeted by a very friendly man (his name escapes me) and he sat us in a nice spot which overlooked the sea and had the most beautiful views of the ocean that we could've asked for. The service from start to finish was simply fantastic! To top this off the food was absolutely divine and cooked to perfection, I simply couldn't get enough of it. My girlfriend ordered the seabass which the waiter deboned with high precision and skill. Everything was so tasty and our dishes didn't take long to arrive. The freshness of the fish was definitely noticeable. I'd recommend this amazing restaurant to everybody. Awesome food, awesome staff, awesome views - what else could a man ask for. Every experience is different and this mine and my girlfriend’s experience for one night in corfu and I’m glad we made it happen here. The view was beautiful, right by the beach. The waiter offered their daily specials-which convinced me to order the seafood linguini. He also recommended the shrimp appetizer with tomato sauce. People have to remember you’re not the only person there. Even though it was very busy, I didn’t feel like I was ignored. Service was attentive and quick. Prices were fair and the portion was decent in size. Definitely recommend the Tzatziki, slap that with some garlic pita bread and the shrimp appetizer in the sauce. So good!
