We came here to have a nice breakfast and ordered waffles and pancakes with chocolate. When we got served the food we saw that there was 2 kinds of sauce and my boyfriend is allergic to nuts so I tasted the lighter sauce and could taste Nutella or nougat. When we asked the employee if there was any nuts she said no although I insisted it tastes like Nutella. So my boyfriend took a bite and got a reaction afterwards. Luckily he isn’t super allergic but he couldn’t eat more than one bite. The workers kept insisting there’s no nuts and showed us the ingredients of the dark chocolate sauce although we wanted to see the ingredients of the light one. They didn’t offer him anything else although they saw he didn’t eat anything and they didn’t give a discount either, we had to pay for the whole thing. Worst service I’ve experienced! I work as a coffee shop manager so I know how to handle these situations if any guests feel discomfort. You offer them something else, free of charge! Or you give them the money back. Simple as that! I was very surprised when for 2 take away cones with 2 little balls of ice cream on the bottom i had to play TEN EURO(with out receip) . I said something like"my god! " and we went away. A guy around 50 y. o. crossed the street, followed US and in a very bad way he told US we didnt understand how the things work here in Crete and he tried to scare us..
