We stayed here with our 2 teenage daughters and had a great time !||The room we booked was a sea view room but was given a side sea view room so could only see the sea from our tiny balcony, we could have complained but to be honest we are not in the room for long. The apartment contained 2 separate bedrooms, a bathroom and kitchen area. Nothing in the kitchen apart from a fridge. The room was very basic nothing special. Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean.||The dining areas are amazing specially sitting right by the sea eating your meals. The food was glorious, something for everyone. Very tasty, seasoned and presented lovely. The restaurant staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. ||Reception staff are wonderful! They are helpful, couldn’t do enough, very accommodating. Bar staff also fantastic although the only alcoholic drinks included in AL are beer, ouzo, raki and brandy. So for me this was not great but the 2 for 1 cocktails in the surrounding bars made up for this! The soft drinks are not great, syrup tasting or flat.||The surrounding area is fantastic with shops, bars and restaurants should you venture out. Lots to do with Star Beach 5 minutes walk away lots of pools, lazy river and water sports. Go karting was amazing. We hired a car and visited Amazonas which was well worth the visit, the children loved feeding the lemurs, followed by a car journey to Elounda beach which was lovely. The rescue aquarium and reptile place was fun. ||We booked a boat trip and swam in the sea, had a bbq then a short trip to St George’s for another swim, the sea was calm so it was like a massive swimming pool, absolutely loved it!! I don’t even like the sea but would highly recommend.||We spent time in the karaoke bar opposite silver beach hotel, they are lovely here. We also ate out at Soraya which was great, staff lovely and did not cost the earth unlike some other restaurants. The White Lion is nice but a bit pricey. Although the food was delicious. ||There is definitely lots to do and see, cost us a small fortune but was worth it! We will definitely be...
Read moreWe stayed at Elmi suites hotel last week, when we arrived late ( 11.30 pm) , the man on the reception was welcoming, friendly and polite he also offered us some food that was left over from dinner. We got assisted to our rooms with our bags which we thought was kind also. Overall first impression of the room was that it was clean and tidy.. nothing like the modern pictures that have been published on various holiday sites though. As we got more settled in we started to become aware of things that were broken in the room like the shower head stand and the door handles, lamp shade and so on... all little things that was manageable. We had no kettle in our room which i thought would be something provided, however we later on asked in reception and they did accommodate that for us. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, also running alive with Ants. Also when it was raining floods of water was coming through our hotel door. Entertainment was advertised on the hotel however their was no entertainment in the whole time that we stayed. We was told by staff that their was entertainment every Monday and Friday, but their was nothing. This was very hard as we are a family of two young children which we found difficult to occupy during the evenings. We was also told by the reception lady on our last day of staying that we would not receive any dinner- we couldn't understand this as we arrived very late on our first day which we did not receive dinner, however she said the food that we received when we arrived was not out of kindness, (two tiny plates of left over food, however we are a family of 4) it counts as our 7th day of dinner- not impressed. The waiters and bar staff in the restaurant were amazing! we could not fault them one bit so my stars go to them. I would say this hotel is more accommodating for young adults rather than young families as it wasn't very...
Read moreLet’s start with the positive, the staff was 5 star all the way. We arrived in the middle of the night got rooms all over the place but it was all sorted in the morning. ||The staff worked hard to turn over drinks and ice cream from two bars. Almost always with a smile. They saved the holiday. ||The Elmo suit is one building and the rooms are fantastic. However we had unspecified rooms from lastminute.com and ended up in Porto Greco village. The rooms are clean worn spacious with out facilities. 2 star at most. Make sure what room you have booked. For the cosmo group. Do not over sell, you just create unhappy customers….|Cleaning was good the rooms where clean but a couple of extras like glasses, iron etc would push the room up in rating.||The all inclusive food was at best mundane. The green session had burgers chips and pasta… not great. The fish was tasteless, the chicken when served was the highlight but I can cook that at home any day so very disappointed. Yes we ha overcooked prawns one day but we had to go out at night to get a decent meal. Plenty of restaurants, just avoid Scorpio bar and orian bar as they have the same kitchen and the same food as all inclusive more or less||The pools are small and there is a constant fight for sun chairs as in any resort. ||They have basketball half court in the basement …. Yes they actually do and it’s perfect for 2v2 or shooting. The gym is half broken, but a few weights and bars you can make a decent workout. ||The spa and bubble pools are down here as well. Did not use them, but they did not look inviting to use at all unfortunately. ||We hoped for a 4 start experience, the staff delivered but everyone else...
