So much bad things to say about this hotel, I don’t even know where to start. I won’t come back to this place. I guess I’ll start with the few good points Hotel is surrounded by bars, restaurants and boutiques and it’s near the sea. Several swimming pool so you can choose. SOME of the employees of the hotel are really kinds and will try their best to help you. I thank them again for their help. Here we go for the two stars. Now the bad stuff (I called the hotel before our arrival to warn them it was our first anniversary, not that I hoped for a Royal suite but just to be sure everything will go smoothly) The room was on the road side, that wouldn’t be a problem if there was a good soundproofing with the windows. Let me tell you sleeping in there was like trying to walk on fire, only a few people can. Too bad for me I can’t. We asked to change room as I couldn’t sleep. The hotel proposed us a room I wouldn’t dare to call a room in a 4 stars hotel ! Hotel was fully booked they said but we will have to speak to the customer care service next day. So wait and see, another night ruined. (FTR, I tried to book a room on several sites and it was magically available) Cleaning was never done in this first room, wifi wasn’t working properly, I’m still looking for the hot water, one lamp out of two was burned and the bathroom wasn’t we would except in a 4 stars hotel (also there was no shower curtain). We asked again for another room, we were offered a room which wasn’t that bad but was less good than the one we paid for. As I explained, I’m not going to trade my room for less as I was expecting for my room to be comfortable (again, as a 4 stars would be). The hotel offered to give us a superior room for 40€ more per night. Why am I supposed to pay more when the room is the problem ? Finally we agreed (or were desperate and said yes) to wait the next day to have a room equal to the one we had. One of the employees told us that all the hotel was noisy anyway (I guess out of anger about our request). It was on ground floor but at least it was not on the road side. Yeah… the employee was right. There is NO soundproofing in any of these buildings. You can hear and guess on which floor the elevator is, when your neighbor goes to the toilet, every single word in the corridor. We’re leaving tomorrow after a week, cleaning was never done to this room either. Towels were never changed. There’s a cockroach colony in our room and on the balcony. They were there when we arrived and I guess will live happily ever after .. Even though we told the hotel. On the second day (when we complained about the cleaning and the cockroach) new bedsheets were thrown on our beds, they still haven’t cleaned the room. We did our beds ourselves. Hot water is hard to get (you need to shower at least 5-8mn to start having if). Also we are a couple on our anniversary, they prepared the room in twin beds, we asked for a double bed. We never had one. Electricity and elevators installations should be carefuly reviewed. We took the all inclusive formula, apparently all inclusive has not the same meaning for everyone. It only works within certain hours, in certain locations of the hotel and with restricted choices .. (especially for the bars). There was olenty of things which were advertised and were finally with extra charge. The bars.., there is four in the hotel. Two of them were closed during the hours they were supposed to be open during our stay. The White rabbit has like five tables (and plenty of space). Looks like they don’t want you go have many drinks with your all inclusive package Buffet was okay but no more. It’s convenient but I wouldn’t say it was very good. Service of the breakfast and at lunch was a disaster. After waiting at last twenty minutes we cleaned and set our table. As people started to do the same thing, we counted how many time they left the dishes on a table : 1 hour ! There’s normally 3 beaches, finally they’re all with extra fees. 15€ the sunbed and no place for your towel otherwise. A la carte restaurant is a joke (4 choices

We booked our vacation first and only then started reading the reviews — and honestly, we got a bit worried. But now I have to ask: who are these unhappy people?! It feels like some of the negative comments might have been written by competitors. People complained about the food, cleanliness, and lack of sunbeds, but I didn’t notice any of that. The staff works tirelessly to keep the hotel grounds spotless. When we arrived at 5 a.m., I was a little shocked — there were empty cups and some litter around. But within just half an hour, everything was sparkling clean! I think the real issue lies with some guests who can’t be bothered to throw their cups into the bins (which, by the way, are literally everywhere). Our room was clean, modern, and serviced daily. We stayed in a family room (2204) — absolutely perfect! We’re very happy with it. The reception staff was caring and helpful, answering all our questions and truly doing everything possible to solve any issues. Special thanks to manager Elena — a true professional with a warm, friendly attitude. Thank you so much! The bartenders, restaurant staff, and housekeeping team were all fantastic. Now, the food: everything was delicious! The chefs are amazing. There’s a great selection of vegetable dishes, fantastic olive oil and olives, several types of meat, and fresh fish. The wine was decent, the beer was good, and while the cocktails at the hotel were simple, I highly recommend heading to the Scorpion Bar in the evening for a proper drink. Yes, cocktails there are a bit overpriced, but the atmosphere is totally worth it! Great DJs, friendly bartenders, and nightly parties — yet we couldn’t hear any noise in our room, even though we were staying close by. And the most magical thing of all — the location! Oh my goodness… the views are out of this world: mountains, the sea, crystal-clear water. I couldn’t stop taking photos of this beauty! And the sunrises… simply breathtaking. This is a place everyone should visit at least once in their life. Thank you, Greece. Thank you, Crete. Thank you, Porto Greco Village. I’ll be back!)

We booked a “renovated” room for four people, but when we arrived, there was nothing much that looked renovated at all. The wardrobe couldn’t even be opened because the nightstand was in the way, there was mold all along the floor against the wall, and in the bathroom the shower curtain was too short so the entire floor got soaked whenever you took a shower. Two of us went to reception to ask if this really was a renovated room, since we had paid extra for it. The staff told us yes, it was. They said they could move us to another room, but not until three days later. We went back to our room and I called my father (since we were all 19 at the time). After he called the hotel himself, suddenly there was a note after lunch telling us to come to the reception. There they admitted that we were not in a renovated room after all, and that we could look at a different room the next day. Eventually we did get a proper renovated room, which was perfectly fine. What bothered us most was the way the hotel handled this: first insisting it was renovated, then only admitting the truth after my father called. It felt like they didn’t take us seriously because we were young, even though we had every right to the room we paid for without needing a parent to intervene. To make matters worse, after we returned home one of us realized she had forgotten some clothes in the room. She had left them beside her bed, and none of the rest of us had them by mistake, so they had to still be there. We emailed the hotel, even saying we were happy to pay for shipping, but the reply was simply that nothing was found—even after checking lost and found. Strange, isn’t it? How can something lying clearly in the room just “disappear”? Especially since I had already read reviews about items going missing from rooms before, possibly taken by cleaners. Whether that’s what happened here, I can’t say for sure, but it definitely doesn’t give a trustworthy impression. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

I don't even know where to start. Well, first of all, this is not, I repeat, this is NOT a four star hotel. We booked a Standard room for 2. What we got was a disgusting, dirty, old (like from 30+ yrs) and moldy room on the ground floor with the oldest, the most raggedy furniture ever seen. That's right, you don't see pictures of this type of rooms on the hotel website, oh no, it's a lovely surprise when you get there in the middle of the night! It would have to be a surprise, because no one in their right mind would ever want to book this type of room from a four star hotel! I mean, I have seen hostel rooms in much better condition than this one.

The room was big, I think it was a family room, so we were given a wrong type of room. It was actually partially under the ground so that the bedroom window for example was about 30cm above ground. Right behind the window and our room, there was a walking path and a pool so we had to keep all the curtains closed all the time. Except, there was one window without curtains, yeah! Because why not! Let the ppl at the pool have a straight view to our room and leave us with zero privacy, sounds great, right?!

I have to dedicate one chapter alone for the bathroom. It was disgusting. A pungent smell of mold would greet you upon entering. It was dirty and cramped, there was hardly any room to move. The toilet seat was wonky as heck. The floors were so disgustingly dirty that I could not even think of putting my bare foot down on it. There was a broken door to the shower cubicle, it was rusty and covered in dirt and mold. The shower cubicle was dark, there was no light in there and no shelf for shampoos etc... The furniture in the bathroom was old and raggedy as well, estimate about 20+ yrs. old at least.

I actually couldn't bear to stay there more then two nights, which were traumatizing to say the least. I booked a room from a real 4 star hotel and left. I am appalled and disgusted that the hotel has the nerve to keep this kind of room in their capacity. They should remodel it or remove from the capacity. I'm very annoyed, I lost a lot of money because of this. It was my first chance to have a holiday since the covid and I was really exited about this trip. It was such a let down right from the start when I got to the room, it felt like a nightmare. The hotel has refused to reimburse any of the stay for me. (My friend asked the refund since the booking was under her name).

Unfortunately I don't have any pictures because I was in a hurry to leave this dump. I asked my friend to take the pictures because she stayed but of course she did not take any. Anyways, take this as a fair warning, if you don't want to ruin your holiday, be wary of your booking, you might want to mention beforehand that you wish to not have room no 2107. That's all I'm saying.

The hotel can reply and repeat their certified 4star status but I ask them to go to the room 2107 and honestly say, is that really the kind of room you would expect to get when you are in a 4 star hotel? There is no one on this earth who could honestly say so. And also, if this establishment has received the 4 star status it just makes me doubt the audit process. Maybe there is no trusting the star ratings at all then.

Oh, I see that there is a review with pictures of a similar type of room from Ms. Juliette Cozic. I suggest the hotel add those pictures to their website. It would give more realistic image of what the rooms are like. At least some of them. It is very clear from the reviews that the hotel has a very varied quality with the rooms and they have talked about a renovation over a year ago. Yet, still there are these rooms from hell which we all know, and the hotel knows, they are not up to 4 star standard, far, far from it. Though, I must add, the hotel staff was very kind, very friendly indeed. And the...

We spent 8 days on holiday in Porto Greco.

The hotel is very nice and has 7 swimming pools. We only found 4 of the 7.

They aren't deep and quite small. We also didn't enjoy sitting by the pool; it was far too hot.

We rented beach chairs daily from Scorpio beach bar. Two beach chairs cost €50 per day.

We found this quite expensive, but it was convenient so we didn't have to worry about beach chairs.

There are two drink bars, one at reception and one at the Scorpio beach bar.

The drinks are made from concentrates; we were tired of them after just one day. If you wanted original Fanta, it wasn't included in your all-inclusive package and you had to pay €5. The shops around the area were cheaper.

The food was always buffet-style, but it was always almost the same. After a few days, we found the food rather boring and sometimes not tasty. It was often in sauce, and the grilled meat was often undercooked. Often, if you ordered three pieces, two were raw and others were overcooked.

For people with allergies like gluten, I don't think there's a really suitable hotel to choose. I had a really hard time enjoying my vacation.

There were days when I could eat a little more, but other days I was completely starving.

We had a renovated room. It was small but clean. We received fresh towels and it was cleaned every day. The downside was that we didn't have a window. We did have air conditioning, but after a while it started leaking and smelled of damp and mold. We've gotten sick because of it in the last few days. The air conditioning is positioned next to your bed and blows directly on your face.

There are no slides or other facilities for children. Only the swimming pool, which we found a bit disappointing.

There's not much to do in the surrounding area besides shops, restaurants, and clubs. If you're looking for a place to visit monuments, the city is a nightlife district. So if you're looking for a place to party, this is the place to be.

We think the hotel itself could be a 4-star hotel, but the food and drinks make it a...
