I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Petalida Seafood Lovers Restaurant! From start to finish, the meal was a culinary journey that left me craving for more.

The Prawns Linguine was a revelation - perfectly cooked prawns served atop a bed of al dente linguine, all enveloped in a rich, flavorful sauce. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that danced on my taste buds.

The Grilled Fish was a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to freshness. It was impeccably grilled to perfection, showcasing the natural flavors of the sea. The accompanying side dishes were equally impressive, complementing the fish beautifully.

Extremely underwhelming. The friend zucchini arrived cold, they overfried as well. Eggplant dip was on a sweeter side for some reason. Baked feta was not fully baked. Octopus as a main dish- it’s a starter, it’s one smaller tentacle, with no side to it. We ordered fried as a side. You can see they were from a bag, arrived warm, too oily. Cretan salad was good, but arrived without a spoon to serve it. Service- not good. 3-4 servers, quarter of the restaurant was empty. Had to wait 15m for someone to take the order, had to ask for some things twice. For some reason, they decided to serve starters and the main all at the same time. Asked them to wait on the main, they re-served it in 15m, you can see the dished were just sitting for 15m. Would...

We came here after being told we had a 12 hour delay on our flight home. We were tired, packed up, and we'd needed to leave our hotel so had time to kill. Our mood was not it's best, though we were determined to make the most of our time that was left to us in Crete.

I've said all of the above to make it clear how though we walked in a little frustrated, we've had such a wonderful time I'm glad for the delay on our plane. The best food we've had since landing a week ago.

The portions were large, and very well prepared. The prices reasonable and the sangria was lovely. The view is the same as a lot of the restaurants alongside the waterfront. Exquisite.
