As i was walking in this street i had a conversation with the owner of the restaurant, he turned out to be a Dutchman and since i am from Belgium we were able to speak in Dutch wich was a really nice conversation. That day i already had dinner so i did not had a meal there. 2 days later i decided to go back and have dinner there, since i thought this man had been so friendly. I ordered the greek meat balls and a soft drink. We sat at a table inside and the walls were decorated with some greenery and twinkle lights, it felt cozy. On every wall there were tv screens playing football tournements, pop music was playing wich was nice. I also had a conversation with the waiter, friendly man. Along with our dishes he put some srirachi, ketchup and mayonaise on our table, i did have some mayo with my dinner. The meat balls were very nice, they came with carrots, fries and some rice. The carrots were a little cold to my taste, i think they were put on the plate before the other ingrediënts, still they were not bad. When i asked for the bill the friendly waiter served us a little dessert on the house, some ice cream with sprinkles. Not sure if they do this on a regular base or just because we had some nice conversations or because we were there before the summer season started... we appreciated it! The prices here were really good and i will not forget this place, the owner and the waiter easily. I wish them a very nice...
Read moreAn absolutely lovely restaurant with fast, attentive service and truly delicious, high-quality food — all at fantastic value. The portion sizes are huge, and every dish feels carefully crafted with real pride and attention to detail. What stood out most, though, was the staff: they are some of the friendliest, most welcoming people I’ve ever met. You can tell they genuinely care about each guest’s experience — always smiling, always ready for a chat, and never missing a beat when it came to topping up our drinks or checking in. They even put special touches on the cocktails, like sparklers and mini umbrellas, which made the experience feel extra fun and thoughtful. My mum and I ended up spending most of our evenings here — it felt like a second home. If I ever return to Crete, this will be the first place...
Read moreWell what a great spot! It is a sports bar yes, but when we went it felt alot more like traditional Cretan restaurant. Sure, the Champions League was on the big screen but it took nothing away from out fantastic experience (we came back for a second meal actually). The food is authentic and delicious, prepared by what seems like a seasoned chef.. There is a specific glasses wearing gentleman there who was our waiter, (I'm so annoyed we never exchanged names), who was so incredibly warm and welcoming, he made our time with them extra special and he deserves a special thankyou! Would...
