Leidseplein Brasserie — Restaurant in Municipality of Chersonissos

We had a nice meal at Leidseplein Brasserie in Crete. The place has a fun and colorful Dutch theme, and they really nailed the details, it felt like a little piece of the Netherlands in Greece. The atmosphere was cheerful and welcoming, and the staff were super friendly and energetic.

It was also nice that I could speak Dutch with the staff, which made it feel even more familiar and relaxed.

The food was good and well presented. That said, the prices were a bit on the high side, so we didn’t stay too long after eating.

Fantastico!! We found this little gem on our final night in Crete. We was taken in by the 'happy hour' deals on cocktails but spent all of our evening in here. The customer service was unreal, caring about the quality of the cocktails and the food. I had a XL Tbone steak served with pride and passion, every cocktail came with all the trimmings and sparklers and the music was a wide range of European favourites. We was given complimentary fries, extra drinks and smiles and jokes at every interaction....

I recently visited this place and was quite disappointed. The food was very tasteless and definitely not worth the price. The prices in general are too high for what you actually get. Drinks that seemed to be complimentary turned out to be charged on the bill, which felt misleading. On the positive side, the waiter was a very polite and friendly man.
