Just returned from an amazing week at la Playa . Yannis and his lovely family have the place running like clockwork . Speedy replys to any communications after booking and were able to accommodate our family of 4 with a top floor, sea view room as requested.|| It was a great recently refurbished apt with a separate bedroom with a double bed and 2 very comfy single beds in the main area, with super cool air con and a safe that was free to use. There was also a small kitchen area with everything to enable you to cook for yourself. We didn't as we ate at the pool bar during the day and out of an evening.|| There are numerous excellent restaurants a 5 min walk away. You are far enough away from the Malia party scene to even know it exists.||There are also supermarkets, places to book trips & car/motorbike hire very close by.||Having the pool right next to the beach is perfect. There's not too many beds by the pool, but plenty for hire on the beach (only €5 a day for 2 loungers & an umbrella)||We would definitely love to...
Read moreFully enjoyed our stay at this hotel – small, run by a family, just on beach. Did not use the pool though, but the sun beds at the beach are 5 euro, instead of regular fee of 10 euro. The depth goes very slow, you got to walk 30-40 meters before you cannot touch the bottom with your legs.
The host was veeeery friendly – allowed us to check in much earlier – at 10 AM and check out very late – at 7 PM. We had a sea view room with enormous balcony, we could enjoy both dusk and dawn from.
It was quite cheap – only 270 euro for our three nights stay. Totally worth the money!
For those who prefer staying in the hotel for all the time – there is entertainment at the bar – billiards. The sun beds in front of the pool are free. There is a pool for kids as well.
There is a big parking right behind the hotel. You can reach supermarkets on foot, the hotel is not far from city center with bars, supermarkets, gas stations!
Great place to...
