This Hotel was FANTASTIC! I cannot recommend it enough. A family run business you can see why they are still around. These guys have the best customer sevice. They gave us local tips on where to eat, short cuts to get to places (we were on foot) like the village. The pool area was a highlight for us. The two guys that looked after the area were great, mixing cocktails and always making sure we had enough peanuts! They were always happy to have a chat and thier friendly nature was the reason we returned day after day to relax and watch the sun go down. The rooms were amazingly modern, not at all what we were expecting having looked at pics online. Modern styled rooms and a big shower with wallfall head. These were welcome luxuries after roughing it on other islands. We seemed to miss all the partygoers so pretty much had alot of the amenities to ourselves a majority of the time which was great. Highly recommend this place if you want friendly, down to earth owners and genuine service...
Read more😊: It’s an excellent hotel where we had wonderful time. The room was very spacious, cleaned daily, the beds were super comfortable. We stayed in three islands in several places, and this was by far the best hotel among them in terms of comfort and quality although the prices of the most of them were similar. Apart from that the family that runs the hotel makes everything to make you have a great holiday and to make you feel at home. This makes a huge positive difference too.
If you are without a car, Homer’s Inn is perfectly situated, as there is a bus stop right front of the hotel, from where you can go to all different beaches of Ios easily. It’s close to all attraction points but not in any of them, which gives you the opportunity of having a very calm and relaxing time, great view of the port and Youlos beach, while having an easy access to them, whenever you want.
Overall, we had a great time in Ios and Homer’s Inn and would certainly recommend it to anyone planning to visit...
Read moreThis is a family-run hotel that really puts their customers first. We were picked up from the ferry port free of charge, and on arriving at the hotel, we sat down with a coffee and were giving a full tour of the island on a map, including how to get around, ATMs, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. We were able to check into our room early and pleasantly surprised to find we'd been upgraded! The room had a gorgeous sea view and was nice and quiet. The pool had a similar view, kitted out with pool bar and plenty of sunbeds. We were here at the end of August and it was very peaceful and perfect, sunny weather. The location is great perfect too! About 15 minutes uphill to Chora, 10 minutes downhill to the port, or there's a bus stop right outside that will take you everywhere. When we were leaving, they allowed us to have a late check out, and Panos kept an eye on our ferry for us all day to make sure it came on time. 100% recommend staying here and would...
