If you're on a budget, go to this hotel but be prepared to not be able to have a good night's rest. Loud music is blasting every day from early morning to midnight. The walls are paper thin so you will be able to hear your neighbors' arguments, "love sessions", football game cheers, EVERYTHING. Make sure to bring ear plugs. The bathroom always stinks because the pipes are stuffed with who knows what. Every time you shower, the bathroom floods like Noah's times in the Holy Bible. The shower head is broken. The towels have brown stains. The staff are way over-worked and can be seen drinking and smoking pretty much all day. Take a dip in the pool at your own risk, as it is pretty filthy. The BBQ night was extremely expensive, so be prepared to cough up some real dough if you take part in any hotel-run activities.
Positives: the rooms are cleaned daily (though they don't own a vacuum cleaner) and the location is handy: 10 minutes to harbor and 20 minutes to the beach by foot. There are small shops near by (do not bother buying anything from the hotel bar, the prices are outrageous) so you can have drinks and snacks. My crew was there too early, so we sit in the scortching hot lobby for hours waiting for a room as there is no AC. Thankfully the room had one. When my crew finally got a room, the floors were still covered in hair of the previous guest despite being "cleaned".
In conclusion, this is a place to party and not a place to rest. You can drink all night but do not think you can have a good night's sleep. Also the managment needs to stop...
Read moreWhen we arrived to the hotel (booked two rooms) one of them was not ready for the rest of my family to stay in. They said that doesn’t normally happen but it still messed up our day plans from waiting for them to prepare it. There is no brooms in the hotel rooms and it can get very sandy if you go to the beach. I asked the cleaner if she was able to tidy the floor in our room.. there was a bit of a language barrier in asking her but it’s okay, it worked out. ||Me and my partner left the room to go down to the pool area so the cleaner could clean. We noticed that the sun beds were all full so we went to sit on the couches near them. The owner told us we cannot be lounging like that. (Laying/sitting sideways as you would on a sunbed) so we got up to go somewhere else. He stopped us as we were walking away and said no you guys can stay but he wanted us to sit up straight ??? Pretty confusing. We asked why we can’t use the couches and sit how we want if every other sunbed was occupied.. he didn’t provide a clear reason. (We also told him our room was being cleaned so we would just be a few minutes) ||Also the assistant guy to the owner is pretty creepy. Will look you up and down and smirk at you if you are a young girl. Made me uncomfortable.||Also they WAYY overcharge on drinks. Around 5- 10€ for a beer or something.. it’s like 2.50€ in other places nearby. Unreasonable.|||Otherwise our stay in kos was amazing!! Highly recommend visiting the beach:) ||The blonde woman working at the bar was very kind on...
