Old Town Comfort by Irini — Hotel in Municipality of Kos

FANTASTIC!!! Staying here as I write this. Apartment is better than I expected and wonderfully located. Perfect for strolling around, loads of eateries close by, SUPER easy check in and Ireni is LOVELY. Away from the madness near the port which is not our scene at all and feels really safe. Great bathroom, lovely balcony. Simple and FANTASTIC value. Surprisingly quiet considering the apartment’s location (10 min walk from port!) Highly recommend if looking for something a wee bit different and you don’t want to spend big sums to be close to the action. Would DEFINITELY recommend to a seasoned traveler and particularly those doing short stays. Great to have the space that a hotel room doesn’t give...

Wir hatten als Familie mit Baby gebucht und uns im Vorfeld bereits nach einem Babybett erkundigt. Babybett wäre nicht vorhanden... Kein Problem schrieben wir... Dann pennt der kleine halt auf der Couch. Nach unserer Ankunft um 20 Uhr war leider niemand da. Telefonisch teilte man mir dann mit, daß man die pincode vergessen hätte zu senden... Dauerte dann noch ein paar Minuten. Im Appartement ging es dann weiter mit den unangenehmen Überraschungen. 2 einzelbetten und eine Couch die nicht mit Bettwäsche überzogen war. Die einzelbetten ließen sich leider nicht zusammen schieben. Eine ziemliche Zumutung. Im Schrank fanden wir wenigstens noch ein paar ranzige und muffige decken. Wasserkocher für Baby essentiell war leider defekt. Pfanne und Kochtopf waren dreckig und mussten erstmal geputzt werden. Überall Ameisen. Ziemlich überraschend insgesamt. Besonderen Dank auch dafür das wir das lauteste Zimmer bekommen haben. Direkt zur Straße raus und im 1og. Die Nacht war entsprechend schlecht. So etwas sind wir aus Griechenland eigentlich nicht gewohnt.
