Lefteris Grill House — Restaurant in Municipality of Kos

Great service and tasty food. It was recommended by the hotel manager who himself orders his food there as well. I did not get disappointed! First time I ordered pita with chicken and fries and for my roommate I ordered Kebab. I shouldnhave paid more attention to my roommate's plate because a few days later, when I ordered Kebab for myself, at first I thought they made an error in delivery because there were saucages in my foodbox. So I called and of course they promised to bring the right food asap. You have to understand I'm used to kebab that consists of meat flakes or.small pieces of meat, not saucages (that look like chipolatas) Apparantly, over here kebab is just that: saucages. So when the delivery guy came we found out I was ignorant and the one making the mistake. However he let me keep the warm and fresh dish and took the old one. And he did it with a smile and friendly words. Of course I feel a little shame, but I'm mostly greatfull for this kind of service and great food. O Lefteris deserves at least 6 stars for...

As a first thing, the owner went on the other side of the street cleaning some garbage. Not that this was his duty but he could not see how people left their litter behind just like this. So....a person who cares about his clean environment. Thumbs up! Next: my wife and I wanted to order 2 portions of mixed Gyros at 8,50 Euro each plus a greek salad. The owner "warned" us that the plates (for one at 8,50) were quite large and we should rather order more if we still felt hungry after eating the first portion instead of ordering 2 and returning most of it. What a good advice. We could allost jot finish it....the one portion. We had 3 small Mythos and an Ouzo and the said salad and mixed Gyros at 25 Euro in total. And the Gyros was really delicious. This is arguably the best gyros restaurant in Kos Town. It’s very small with a limited number of tables so there could be a bit of a wait but believe me it’s worth it. For quality and price the food is so good. Large portions mean for some people one meat plate with say a Greek salad and tsadziki is more than enough food to share but it’s so good and cheap you might as well dive in and try as much as you can. I always choose pork gyros but the chicken looks great too. The roast chicken is delicious but the Kontasouvli is my personal favourite. Greek salad is so fresh as are the fries which are sprinkled with Greek herbs, that’s what makes them Greek….fantastic. Can’t wait to...
