En Milo — Hotel in Municipality of Milos

We stayed at En Milo for 7 days. It is one of the best experiences we’ve ever had - everything, starting from the hospitality, rooms, organization, etc. is exceptional. The rooms are brand new, all furniture inside impeccable. They clean the room every day, as well as the towels and bedsheets (changing it every second day). Breakfast is amazing: fresh orange juice, fruit, tosts, eggs, etc. You can even have it at your own little terrace/balcony, but we preferred to go to the garden, as it’s a beautiful experience to sit under the tree and have your breakfast while listening to the sound of cicadas and gazing at the sea. The pool is also very clean, as well as the deckchairs, really comfortable and nice. It is located directly on the beach, but still not so close to the main road, so it’s really quiet at night. We slept like babies. All the restaurants in Pollonia are at 5 min walking distance. They also pick you up from airport/port and back, for free, which is really convenient. The best thing was definitely the hospitality - they made us feels as we were their friends who are staying with them. Mrs. Hrisa is the most welcoming person ever, she helped us rent a car, book cruising, replied to bunch of our emails. I think other hotels should come to En Milo, to learn from them and how to run hotel business. Don’t miss the cruising with Aria Calma, it was our best day at the island and worth every cent. En Milo was good value for money and a great location in Pollonia.||We had a very large room with a hot tub. Breakfasts were generous and served right on the time we requested. Our room was clean. Most of the staff were polite and helpful, E at the front desk was very helpful. ||A couple of things annoyed me though (first world problems). Our room had a hot tub but we were told not to run in too hot because that was “bad for the hot tub.” I have owned a hot tub, don’t give me crap because you don’t want to either pay the electricity cost or do the daily water maintenance. Despite my trying to change the temperature, our hot tub never got hot. We were there in October and this would have been a nice feature to use, more importantly, if you sell a “room with hot tub,” I better be able to use it.|There was a sewer gas smell in our bathroom(from the floor drain) but the crazy thing was, any time you ran water in the sink or shower, the smell came through. We could not have asked for a better experience. The staff was so helpful with emails and coordination for our international trip in advance of our stay, and so welcoming and flexible during the stay. The hotel is in the perfect location in Pollonia, literally across a tiny street from the beach and a 4 minute walk to the shops and restaurants along the beach. Room was quiet and spacious, with a huge patio overlooking the beautiful pool and beach. The best part was that they offer a complimentary pick up and drop off from the port and sat down and gave us all the pointers on what to see and do. They even coordinated our ATV rental and dinner reservation one night. It was the best part of our 3-week trip and we travel a lot. I also work in hospitality and have travelled my whole life to high-end and average hotels and this service experience blew us away.
